So, he is dropping his fight to clear his name because he says its unfair.
He will lose his titles and his cash awards from certain events.
BUT
20 years of product endorsement deals
20 years of accolades
20 socializing with high society as America's premier rider
20 years of Celebrity status
and Testicular cancer
You cant lose - so moral of the story is- Cheat but don't get caught for 20 years - and use cancer to your advantage when you can.
So, he is dropping his fight to clear his name because he says its unfair.

Shrug, I am really not a big fan of Lance, but all this shit is hypocrisy, they are all dopped to no end in TDF and in all sport actually, thinking an olympic sportman is clean is a joke, because even dopping is legal till you don't reach a certain level. Actually the FIFA don't allow dopping test during the world cup because it will generate riots if national teams weren't allowed to play.
Regardless of dopping or not they are still beast for doing what they are doing, it is not dopping that suddenly make them 10 times better.

Lance stands accused of using erythropoietin (which increases your number of red blood cells), not steroids.

I don't know why he would want to risk his whole career just to make more blood when folks everywhere are just full of the stuff and will give it to you if you simply stick a knife in them.
