Even when TMO and DA (or just A) merged IB still vastly outgeared us. The only people that had been killing the same shit for 2 years was IB. Most guilds that opposed IB in the begging couldn't do it very well and IB kept getting more and more ahead in the geared out game.

So regardless of who quit from IB, they still managed to out gear TMO by a great deal. It's not our fault that their members couldn't handle what they dished out and quit because they sucked.

Opposition is also always around, so long as 2 people from 2 different guild tags still need a single drop off a single dragon.

Yeah I was around for awhile, just never really cared about raiding back then.

I played around in the planes some before Kunark with TMO but never anything serious (TMO didn't have enough dedicated then to be serious about it). About a week before Kunark I stopped playing and rejoined around August. TMO was moving toward more serious raiding (with the merge) and I was dtf.

Farming SKY? I wouldn't say TMO was farming that much of sky and it's true that resist gear is mostly all that is needed for the dragons. However, when your guild (IB) is decked out in dragon haste/god loot (+more sky loot), it helps. So you guys had the gear to do it with less, where as other guilds had to form up and use more people. With batphones the way they are, your guild can pull sooner where as another has to rely on more members logging in (with an even #'s race). Gaining DA members who had farmed most of SKY prekunark definitely helped. However, (as everyone knows) IB gained nearly as many DA members as TMO.

So yeah, I'd say TMO did overcome the gear advantage held by IB. You can call it being proud, I just see it as how it is.

PS - I'm glad I could aid you in your rags to riches story Baub! <Seriously, I'm glad I could help someone on the server get to a point that they would challenge my awesomeness. Best investment ever.>

TMO was able to kill SL a few months prior to Kunark. However, we didn't farm him as much as other guilds were capable of farming him. We mostly killed up to KoS from what I remember. Pretty much like I said, I wouldn't go as far to say as we were farming sky pre-kunark (especially compared to other guilds).

I'm not sure I'd say it was a massive gear advantage that IB had, but it definitely wasn't anything miniscule.

IB/TR are still kinda butt hurt that VD/TMO beat them to some of the epic server first. Do you see any of IB/TR's epic server first players still around? Great legacy of IB is Getsome and a small crew griefing TMO while TMO flattens mobs in VP.

Below is our current rotation. Please be aware that I have corrected a few errors and added some new guilds. Also there will be a new rotation when PoP launches, and Senior GM Deodan will be using his experience from the Stormhammer server to set up and regulate the new rotation. As most of these mobs are spawning between midnight of last night through tonight, it may already be time for some guilds to move along on the roster, or some guilds may be killing their previous mob tonight.

*Note - Rosengard has been removed from the raid rotation list for two weeks. In the case that PoP launches before this two weeks has run its course, Rosengard will not be eligible for a raid rotation the first week PoP is live.

The Rules:

1) Each rotation consists of a 12 hour window. If a raid target is not killed within 12 hours of it spawning, it is open to any other on the rotation to target and kill. Killing a raid mob outside of another guilds kill window does not change the rotation. The guild who was incapable, unwilling, or uninterested in killing the raid target essentially forfeits their kill of the target.

2) Killing a raid target during the kill window of another guild will result in the suspension of the raid leader, and all guild officers / leaders online at that time. All loot that was dropped by the raid target will be removed and given to guild who had kill rights. Taking a spawn from another guilds kill window will remove your guild from the raid roster for two week.

3) Interference with another guilds kill target during their window of time will result in harsh punishments for the offending guild. (see above)

4) As each raid target is killed the rotation will fall to the next in line, moving down through the list. Guilds in queue will then be added to the list one at a time while the last guild on the current list be added to the bottom of the queue. ( E.G. Once Ascendency Kills the Avatar of war they will move onto Vulak'arr then Seru. Once Citizen kills the Arch Lich they will go to the bottom of the raid queue.

If your guild is not listed on the rotation above and you would like to be added, Please send in a petition and we will be more than happy to get you started on the rotation.

Looks like Sony realized a long time ago just how retarded pixel arguments are and, being a rich company, took the easy way out in preventing it. just looking at server first we can see that IB loves to get the titles then ghost. TMO holds the server first in lots of epics that are hard too do and have multiple people with those epics. Nothing you kill on EQmac will ever be as difficult as it is to kill on p99. Not because of the "lol working properly content" but because of the actual races that happened on p99.

Perhaps if IB hadn't chose to shit up the raid scene every time another guild challenged them for pixels, P99 would still have that kind of racing. It's obvious the only people from another server that care about a different server are the ones playing on EQmac that previously played on p99. You guys stalk the forums, try to get people to play on EQmac and, more importantly, you can't even resist logging back onto p99 to play with the guild you hate so much.

We are not on any rotation with anyone for anything. Races for mobs happen. We had a great one last night due to server reset.

Mobs on EQ mac are actully harder becouse they work properly. Ever had Hoshkar gate on p99? ya i thought not.

More friends join us every day, i personaly made 1-60 + epic, with vp key and st key in 6 weeks of semi-casual (employed) play. If you want to raid and dont want to deal with assholes who just want to ruin everyones day come check us out.

In all seriousness what killed DA was the 2-3 suspensions. People just stopped logging in. Then we went through a patch were some people went on extended breaks. VD was there for the numbers not so much for the "know how".

But yes VD was asked to merge and they didnt think it was what the guild wanted. To be honest when Ascension was absorbed into TMO I wasnt surprised.

DA was no more there was just this "Ascenson" left. I led a raid after a server reset one time and half the fucking guild didnt know were the fuck innoruuks ramp was. We trained the ramp clear and spent the next hour finding corpses all over the fucking zone. Simply put we invited anyone with any sort of toon that could possibly help us. I left soonafter for IB / TR.

TMO was never on the raid scene until they obsorbed Ascension. This was when they were raiding with 100 people.

Long story short though was DA/VD had a good relationship and worked good together so they were asked about a merger.

I believe this came from a few wipes due to no enchanters. Around the time of the Evil Empire absorption into TMO (where I came from), I would often be the only enchanter during fear breaks. I believe there were 2-3 wipes caused by this lack and the reputation stuck ever since.

Never really had a chance to do it right because you guys were in such a rush to beat the other guilds doing their thing already to prove yourselves. And Zeelot or whoever who is the leader was a part of that for pushing so hard and cutting corners. It made the experience much less fun for all those involved.
