I forget about Runnyeye ... might have to pack my bags and start to venture a bit. Was thinking Najena and Befallen might also be worth the trip

It would be awesome if peeps started frequenting Runnyeye (and HPH too) rather than Unrest, last time I was there it was pretty empty. As a melee having a bind point in RV instead of running GF->BB->DC->Unrest makes Runnyeye/HPH way more appealing...

I'm up for that! I spent plenty of time in Unrest years ago, not really excited about sitting there for hours and hours again - I think it would actually be fun to do more exploring in upper guk, najena, and runnyeye - HPH is fun too!

If you're going to runnyeye, take a full group and even then, beware. There is a named evil eye that wanders that destroyed my group one time. It was nasty, I have not been back since. Highpass and highkeep though are awesome.

Anyway, I'm heading the F out of Unrest and over to Karanas/Runnyeye this weekend probably, so if anyone else 15-20 is interested in seeing what we can do in Runnyeye, shoot me a /tell in game if you're out that way!

Anybody know if Rallos Zek following Dark Elves are KOS to the guards in High Hold? I'm hoping to head over to Runnyeye but I'm pretty sure binding in Rivervale will not be an option for me. I guess if HHP isn't an option I'll have a long ways to run back if I die.

Welp, I was initially annoyed when I first made the post. But I have to agree with you, it turned into something much better then what was intended.

Dinged 18 Pally last night so gonna head out of Unrest and make my way towards Antonica. Quick stop at FP to pick up a better weapon if I can afford it (screaming mace has been kind but it is time for an upgrade). Was kicking around the possibility of hunting in SOLA. It would be a sweetspot if one could get bound in the temple right across the way (been a while so not sure if this is the case).

Yup, HPH was a ghost town last night when I arrived. 3 in the zone, including me. I was worried about what the guards would con to a DE but my warrior ass never made it past the Orcs. So we just setup camp there instead of trying to get through to runnyeye via the gorge. Exp was awesome once we got started. Later on there were more folks, 1 group on the gnolls and our group on the Orcs. It was definitely worth the trip, one of our group nabbed a Shralock pack too!

I think I was in a group once in Runnyeye way back in the day. As I remember, it didn't go so well.

There's usually a reason certain zones are packed while others are abandoned.

Here's my rant:

WTF good is Unrest's godly ZEM if it is so damn camped as described above that there are 6 groups in the zone competing for about 4 groups' worth of pulls?! If the min/maxers would actually put some thought into it instead of mindlessly cramming themselves into Unrest, with a somewhat efficient group, you can probably get XP faster in an empty, uncontested zone like Runnyeye simply because of increased spawn availability despite the lower ZEM.

Granted, if the overflow does goes over to Runnyeye, the Unrest groups remaining are then allowed to continuously pull with little to no competition and will then enjoy the full ZEM benefit. Instead, everyone just crams into Unrest and ruins the "effective ZEM limited by spawn availability" for everyone. Awesome.

Whatever, I'm headed to Runnyeye... come join me for XP as fast as we can pull and kill it. :)
