View Full Version : When you are about to level is the game out to get me?
Alright, I may seem paranoid here but I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this or if it's all coincidental.
I don't know what it is but as soon as I'm about to level (1-2 mobs needing to die before I level) or I just leveled, the game's difficulty increases. How so you ask? More resists, more charm breaks, random adds spawning right near me, etc.
Just for example, last night I finally got out of hell level and hit 31. Im in the Overthere and decided to charm a rhino and have him beat on another rhino. Things are going well while I sit down and med up.. I glance around to make sure it's safe where I'm sitting and there are no mobs in site... All of a sudden those effin dragoons kill me before I even knew what happened and I lose my level being brought down to 90% exp into 30. I swear they must have spawned directly on top of me.
Just one of my experiences...

Resists here are fucked. So is pathing in many, many zones/areas. All the talented "coders" that work on this project are children playing with buttons copy/pasting lines of code, and randomly making random decisions with random sets of criteria for each decision.

Yep it seems that's when you have 8 resist in a row as a caster or a add of some sort that screws everything up.

Resists to druid root and snare spells are much higher than I remember back in the Kunark days. But, it's their server, they can do what the fuck they want.
