How anyone spends their time is their own business and if was an enjoyable experience to them than all the better. I don't have the time to do it but I'm not gona knock someone doing something in this game for a long period of time especially if it was done to help out other players. The world is a sad enough place sometimes without having to put people down because they are having fun.

If you hate IB because they got to a dragon before you or because they have players who are able to track raid targets all day and night just get over it. My guild is also racing for spawns right along side of them and I can't say I ever personally met one person from IB in the last several months who ever rubbed me the wrong way. Competition for spawns is just business and what classic everquest raiding was about. Despite being in direct competition with them I have never once been turned down for a res, group or any kind of help in general by their members (unlike some members in other guilds). The raiding aspect of EverQuest is a different environment and yes there will be shit talk and drama but none of that has ever really come into play outside of raiding in my own experiences on this server.

I won't comment on anything else people bring against IB because alot of it is either petty shit or can't be proven. I've been on this server long enough to remember that several months ago the same exact shit that was being said about IB was being said about Trans (GM favoritism, exploits, MQ etc). If IB was such a corrupting force than why did Tiki get banned for "warping" in Lguk (not sure how legit that even was). Top end guilds on every server in every MMO that involve competition over spawns are always labeled as the bad guys. If you were ever in that position on live back during the classic era you would understand that.

p.s. I'm very happy with my current guild and enjoy the hell out of grouping and raiding with them before anyone chimes in that I'm kissings IBs ass.

The thanks I receive is enough for me to keep tracking I suppose; tracking gives me a chance to relax, answer questions and just chat with my e-friends. It does unfortunately take away from time I could be doing other things in EQ, i'd say on average I actually PLAY for 4 hours while the rest of the time is tracking. The time spent in various zones tracking does become tedious but it comes full circle when i'm able to actually go out there and help some random person for a few hours and make their day which in turn gives me a desire/want to actually play this game.

Well, I do hand out buffs/items/plat to people when I do make it out of these zones so I guess that's one other thing I do. While it is true that it's pretty hypocritical of me to be tracking for a single guild and blocking others from getting to experience the content as well, I just wouldn't find it productive (not that playing EverQuest is) to be tracking for everyone.

PS: my offer for the powerleveling still stands, i'm pretty good at it.

If you don't enjoy repetition, MMOs are probably not a good game choice. Most games and sports are extremely repetitive. If everything in the game is new to you, you are... a newb. Is it genuinely difficult to understand the pleasure that comes from developing skills and strategies and then executing them well?

There is also, of course, loot. Advancing in this game requires developing your character and once a character has reached maximum level with all the accompanying spells and abilities the only advancement is through equipment. Only time will tell which players will stick around, but some of us are raiding for gear that we will use for many months to come. We're getting ready to tank Phara Dar and heal on the AoW fight. That requires some preparation and, yes, repetition.

I realize that everyone has his own perspective and that it might seem like IB spends all of our time trying to ruin your fun, but we really don't even know who you are. We're just playing EverQuest. There are only two dragons and two gods in this game currently and they spawn once a week. If IB disappeared today, there would still be far fewer gods and dragons than everyone wants to kill. If IB, Divinity, Dark Ascension, Remedy and Transcendence all disappeared today, disputes over these same targets would continue with different characters and guild names.

It's a legitimate question. It all depends on if their are people in the guild still requiring raid gear. Most guilds have not had dozens of chances at Inny or CT yet so obviously they will still be targeting these mobs when ever they get a chance.

This post is absolutely hilarious. It's riddled with strawmen, followed by QQ and rage and some strange attempt at waving an epeen or something. Let me elaborate a little bit because obviously you're too dense to see beyond your myopia.

Playing classic EQ emu can be enjoyable. Nobody ever said 10 year old content isn't worth "any" time investment. Your time investment though, especially of your trackers, is not "any" time investment and you know this. That's why the only thing you guys can do is the usual "rage detected", or "u mad?" trolling. Sure, it can be fun to do shit in game sometimes. It can fun to take on a boss, though the mechanics of this Emu server are questionable AT BEST. The end game content has been trivialized and that's a shame, but I digress.

Having trackbitches chained to their computers and an entire guild of people on welfare on call is beyond the realm of this being an EMU server for some mildly amusing distraction, or a little nostalgia, or lvling with some friends, ect. To be honest I never had a problem with you guys until Blaine and Baawa started training us in fear on purpose and then purposely breaking my mezes. I had NO problem until that moment. Apparently Salty did something when I wasn't even there and you guys felt the need to repeatedly train us over and over later when Salty had left. At one point I had literally 5+ mobs mezed and we were kiting 3-4 others. They had to resort to dotting/nuking mezed mobs in order to finally wipe us. You didn't petition. You trained and then nuked/dotted mezed mobs over and over repeatedly. Those are the people in your guild bro. That's what they do.

Other instances I've seen are when you completely take over a zone like Unrest, pulling/killstealing every mob in the zone, not giving a rat's ass how it affects the other people just trying to group and get exp normally. Playing classic EQ emu can be enjoyable. Nobody ever said 10 year old content isn't worth "any" time investment. Your time investment though, especially of your trackers, is not "any" time investment and you know this. That's why the only thing you guys can do is the usual "rage detected", or "u mad?" trolling. The truth cuts pretty deep.

Sure, it can be fun to do shit in game sometimes. It can fun to take on a boss, though the mechanics of this Emu server are questionable AT BEST. The end game content has been trivialized and that's a shame, but I digress.

Having trackbitches chained to their computers and an entire guild of people on welfare on call is beyond the realm of this being an EMU server for some mildly amusing distraction, or a little nostalgia, or lvling with some friends, ect. It's the realm of mental illness. I don't really care if IB "lets" people have raid mobs or not. Just seeing any guild take a mob from you and the resulting hypocritical IB QQ is a lot more enjoyable than actually playing this game lately.

The only reason why you guys kill more shit is because there isn't another guild that has as many people on welfare willing to be slaves to your type of officer mentality. It basically comes down to IB thinks these old ass raid mobs are important enough to waste their lives over, where as most other normal people who play for shits and giggles do not. It is what it is man. That's not rage. It's recognizing that you guys are infected with a sickness over shit that doesn't even really matter. I could understand if you're the top guild in the premier MMO atm, breaking new ground or something, doing world first kills and shit, because I've done that. I've been in those guilds. It takes hard work and dedication and you sacrifice your RL to accomplish those goals. Nothing is being accomplished here though, so now it has entered the realm of the creepy. It's not like someone is impressed when they inspect you and see loot they had 10 years ago or something. I mean, yea it's cool to see the old content, but it gets pretty damn boring after awhile TBH. It hasn't really aged that well and doesn't really hold up all that great.

I remember seeing the endless trackers for months on end. Watching you guys leapfrog guilds, zone in and put pressure on people all hardcore and thinking it was a little weird at first, shrugging it off and just having fun reliving old EQ. Now I just laugh at it.

It's just so not worth it. Nobody is "raging" because you charm planar mobs and kick back and CH. Or track shit 24/7 with dude's on trackbitch cycles. As I looking at the blocky polygons and obviously outdated zone I was thinking "really? Over THIS shit? lol fuck that"

To be honest I never had a problem with you guys until Blaine and Baawa started training us in fear on purpose and then purposely breaking my mezes. I had NO problem until that moment. Apparently Salty did something when I wasn't even there and you guys felt the need to repeatedly train us over and over later when Salty had left. At one point I had literally 5+ mobs mezed and we were kiting 3-4 others. They had to resort to dotting/nuking mezed mobs in order to finally wipe us. You didn't petition. You trained and then nuked/dotted mezed mobs over and over repeatedly. Those are the people in your guild bro. That's what they do.

Other instances I've seen are when you completely take over a zone like Unrest, pulling/killstealing every mob in the zone, not giving a rat's ass how it affects the other people just trying to group and get exp normally. I've even seen you guys try and throw camp rules on people for bartender so you could plvl. That seem normal to you?

There are other options besides IB, and IB does not get all the spawns. They do get a lot of spawns right right now, but with every day, other guilds adapt more. I know it sounds frustrating to read everything y'all do about the end game on this server, but IB doesn't have the grasp on the server that it did at one time in the past, so just wait it out, man. There is more competition right now than some people give credit for.
