Then you take liberties to start some sort of trainfest, telling me you're splitting? Yet its clear you run past a dozen or so mobs to split ontop of us? Any monk worth their salt can sneak pull that entire area with sow and the cheapest shurikens. If this was a problem, our mage would of summoned you some. I mean, as a precedent to this even in VP I summoned your monks some food so they could continue to train us. It adds to the experience!

Now if you're splitting shit from verix, at the deepest sections of KC basement past at least a dozen spawns in addition to the half dozen we already had aggro'd and were fighting, I'm going to make the call to say you're a useless fuck, easily lost, or deliberately training. Your finess in finding us every time with a train tells me you weren't lost. Your requirement to run around a zone with mobs to 'split, and then /q out every time you train us tells me you're a useless fuck. And the fact it happened after the first instance which is perhaps excusable, shows me it was deliberate.

Now I am not so sure we can work this out, considering you are stooping to the level of training level 58's XP'ing in KC, after they agree to a mutually beneficial buff and heal exchange with your group. But I'm all ears. As always.

Shaere was a great raid leader, but he also went crazy at the end of his time with us. I have a lot of respect for him, but Shaere's batshit paranoia and refusal to interact with other guilds was ridiculous.

Shaere singlehandedly turned a lot of people off to this great guild, and shunned many great people within it.

I feel like his departure from the guild was more of a rejuvenation than a downfall. We have made nothing but progress since he left.

Yes, this is rants & flames. To be honest, a lot of people run their mouths in here, and it pisses me off; I consider both Jeremy and Motec my friends, and they're going at each other in the post like they want each other to die. It bugs me when I see them popping off at each other, but I know in the end it's all in good fun. Based on the above quote it is obvious you have zero perspective of what any senior member of Taken has done in the past two and a half years. When I say senior I don't mean people that you have seen on raids in the past 6 months or so that you were in the guild. I'm talking about people that actually showed some sense of loyalty by continuing to log on when there were maybe 15 people actively raiding in the guild. LP at any given time was the hate porter, the tank, and then the rezzer if we wiped. The dude was basically THE TANK when a lot of people were AWOL. You probably just showed up to raids and hit auto attack + backstab and then called it a day. To say that LP doesn't do anything is bullshit because he was probably just fed up listening to Shaere's crap.

I joined Transcendence back in early 2010 and since then there have been 5 different guild leaders, and I bet you can name Shaere and that's it. Glitterati spent countless hours as recruiting officer to keep our raid attendence high enough to actually do anything and the guild roster was a revolving door. Your actions speak for the lack of appreciation that 90% of the applicants who left the guild within 3 months had. You showed up, did some raids, got some loot, but eventually you flaked out and left. You are a tool and you need to learn to have some respect for people that have helped to mold this server, because I can tell you right now no one worth a shit has any for you.

FWIW, that's interesting to hear you say Shaere didn't want to raid with other guilds. BDA did a couple of joint raids with him. It was actually Shaere's micro-management style that turned off a LOT of our guild from Taken, and why we quit being open to the idea of shared raids with Taken at the time.

I'm not placing any judgement on Shaere here, since I don't know him or the situation near well enough to make an informed opinion, just saying that at the time he was doing shared raids, /shrug.

WTF are you talking about? Im not here bashing people who aren't part of this thread. I posted one little thing about LP and your comparing me to the downfall of the US economy ? LOL . Im aware of what the officers of Taken did for everyone there as a guild, and im saying that LOST was not one of those people. Before he would offer to help anyone, he would have to sit back and decide if this was gonna benefit himself or his alts in any way first. Im not the person who was on my alts during a Taken raid gearing up myself, before helping my guildies. I wasnt the person who said he had to leave p99 server because of "Family stuff" but then was on easy server all day and night. ( and im talking about "Your Boy" in these instances.) I was part of the people that went and camped Tstaff for like a month straight on my main out of group, for other mains in guild that didnt have the time or money to get such items. Who showed up to every raid without hesitation to help others, even though i knew i would not be gaining anything out of it. Who would PL other new apps during non-raid times to help try to get them to raid level, before i thought of PL'ing my alts. Dont sit here and say i didnt do anything for Taken when u werent even a part of the guild for maybe a month, when i was.

No ones bashing Taken here. Lost is the one who wanted to bash people not even associated with this thread, first. And then the first to cry out in guild because someones being "mean" to him in RNF. Getting other people to fight your battles for him LOL.

I loved my time in Taken under shaere's iron fist. Even tho him and I didnt get along that well, and everyone can attest to that.

LP left taken cause IE fail tank and belittled at raids because of so.
LP goes to EZ server where he can succeed at something with MQ.
LP confirmed mad when Taken asks for black blade back so a tank that doesn't fail could use.
LP comes back to taken at the downfall of guild because shaere left and no tanks would log on.
LP Confirmed mad again when Laminin starts playing again and = not terribad tank.

Not saying that the guild has not rebuilt on these things now, but at the time the guild was on a downward spiral. Was more referring to this as a timeline representation.

Transient was always a good member.

Shaere's leadership was not about helping others and being a family guild. It was about who he could control and to what extent that control would go. They seemed to raid every night and it was getting unfun to have to deal with him for alot of people. So they left or quit.


It is quite amusing to see that Taken (Transcendence) has been able to prosper so much under the leadership of Glitterati.
