I say this because you can recycle a bottle 100 times but chances are at some point it will end up in a land fill anyway. Recycling only works green if its continuous, occurring 100% of the time. Not likely. In the meantime though its slowing down the process of pollution.

I underlined the important part. We'll never achieve a 100% green planet, but we can make steps to be more green tomorrow than we are today.
In the meantime though its slowing down the process of pollution.
I don't really understand why you titled the thread the way you did while the last sentence of your statement completely contradicts the title.
