Damn shame what happen to Bill Cooper he was a good dude and spoke the truth. Our Soviet Government had to shut him down by putting a bullet in his back.

Well technically it wasn't in the back. He went down defending himself with the tools the founders gave us.

Bill Cooper was a drunk wife beater who sold books about aliens conspiracies.

Alex Jones is your standard John Birch Society nutter, but at least he didn't talk about aliens.

Our Soviet Government

Really?

Stalin intentionally starved millions of his own people and had tens of thousands murdered. In the 30's canabalism was common in the Ukraine thanks to Stalin's agricultural collectivization. The more I read about Stalin the more I think he may have actually been more evil then Hitler.

I'm not sure whether the Holocaust or the Holodomor was worse. In the Holocaust six million died, in the Holodomor it was anywhere from three to seven million.

Stalin's only saving grace is that historians argue whether the famine in the Ukraine was intentional or a result of Soviet industrialization. I'm not really sure there's a difference.

Sad troll attempt.

Even if either of those 2 false statements weren't completely idiotic drivel, it still wouldn't change the fact that their predictions were right.

Hate to break it to you but its time to look in the mirror and see who the real nutter is.

According to Cooper, he served in the US Air Force and the US Navy and was discharged in 1975. He caused a sensation in UFOlogy circles when in 1988 he claimed to have seen secret documents while in the US Navy that referred to government knowledge and involvement with extraterrestrials.[4]

Cooper linked the Illuminati with his beliefs that extraterrestrials were secretly involved with the US government. According to Cooper, Dwight D. Eisenhower negotiated a treaty with extraterrestrials in 1954 and established an inner circle of Illuminati to manage relations with the aliens and keep their presence a secret from the general public. However Cooper believed the aliens actually "manipulated and/or ruled the human race through various secret societies, religions, magic, witchcraft, and the occult" and that even the Illuminati had become unknowingly manipulated by the aliens.

Anyone who was even remotely a foreign policy wonk knew about Project Bojinka. Cooper predicted nothing. If you weren't aware of Bojinka, well, I'm afraid you're out of your area of expertise.

Now, in regards to Coopers "prediction:"

He said both America and Israel would be attacked. He was wrong.
He said Osama bin Laden would not be behind the attacks, which I imagine would have quite irritated Osama bin Laden.
He said the attack would result in guns being taken anyway. He was wrong.
He got the date of the attack wrong.
He says nothing about the method of attack, despite foreign policy wonks actually knowing about Project Bojinka. Huge fail here.

Cooper had been throwing shit at the wall to see what stuck for years. Some finally stuck, but to think that's anything close to a prediction is nothing more than a cognitive malfunction. Sorry.

Alright, I'm am not going to sit and argue your opinions and beliefs that are contingent about the fact that you believe 100% of what is told by the CIA and FBI or other federal entities and then reported by cnn, fox, msnbc "journalists" and the rest as truth to the masses. From what I've seen most of the stuff that is actually ever investigated and brought to light by third party sources show that 99% of what we are fed is lies (You know, like the whole reason for the Iraq war?). Yes, cooper was wrong on some of the details as he is NOT some supernatural psychic. Just an old stubborn man who saw the writing on the wall. No, he was not perfect, and he did have some wild theories to boot, but at least he saw where the real threat was. The federal government has been for a while and will always be trying to take our guns, unless we we weed out the corruption and special interest. If they ever succeed it will be because of people like you.

He may have been throwing shit at the wall but at least he was consistent with his shit, you know, almost like he believed it himself. Do you even know what you believe or do you let others do your thinking for you?

Hitchens

Whether Bill Cooper believed what he was selling is irrelevant to whether it was true. You can believe the sky is pink, but that doesn't make it so.

I can't force you to stop believing in something, regardless of how absurd it is. If I had that power, I'd focus on religion before silly Internet conspiracy theories. Alas, I do not.

Now, in regards to Coopers "prediction:"

He said both America and Israel would be attacked. He was wrong.

That was the CNN article, you know what "a CNN reporter and his little camera crew could do what all the money and all the assets and intricate web spun by the intelligence apparatus could never do, find OBL".

He said Osama bin Laden would not be behind the attacks, which I imagine would have quite irritated Osama bin Laden.

Right, Tim Osman was just a scapegoat.

He said the attack would result in guns being taken anyway. He was wrong.
He got the date of the attack wrong.

He said if it didn't manifest within the next couple of weeks, it eventually would, because they hadn't taken the guns yet. America is the only country with a large enough armed populace to stop mass enslavement of the entire human race, which would be the endgame here.

Sorry.

Every prediction he made in Behold a Pale Horse came true... besides the one where he said Manuel Noriega couldn't be tried in an American court as he was head of a sovereign nation. But he was.

I can't take anyone who doesn't believe in extraterrestrial life seriously.

I don't recall saying that our isolated planet in a bajilion different galaxies with a kazillion star/solar system is the only one capable of life.

But I do feel comfortable saying that the chances of them having visited this planet are about the same chances Bill Cooper had after he shot at law enforcement: none.

You had blanket statement without the qualifier that must have visited here. Even AJ says Bill is a nut so I'm not arguing that some of his stuff was out there.

Anyway what I meant to say is his predictions were an entirely separate part of the content of the book. Can't find a list of it online but it's not shots in the dark. He had access to a lot of high level information which is why I think he could figure out the gameplan so accurately.

Hitchens

They weren't predictions. They were guesses that your brain has misinterpreted as predictions. Apophenia is very common.

You're speaking out of ignorance as you have not actually an idea about what he has said would come true. Also a guess is a prediction bro.

Anyways, the conspiracy community is often right for the wrong reasons. Orwell's already rolling over and Huxley, being a member of the elite himself, told us the master plan. I thought we'd be way farther along by now, but suspect it will come to a head by the end of this year.
