Softcore PK

I posted this in a server chat thread first, thinking the thread was here. Deleted it, and am reposting where it belongs.
These blue guilds do not seem to be doing their blue thing right. Supporting one another, not hindering, would be in the best interests of everyone on your server. You're ruining the perks a blue server has over a red server, and it's a very terrible thing. By playing blue, you signed up for no actual competition between other players, right? So why do you insist on trying to force competition into the mix? Camping at trak to kill him within seconds of him spawning is not being competitive, it's being petty. Participating in forum flame wars is not being competitive, either. Ruining your own fun, and another's, in an effort to get ahead is a cycle of destruction.
Maybe I was misinformed, but I always thought blue EQ servers had rotations on the big spawns. And I thought you generally played nice. Training, KSing, hacking and crying to GMs? Is this the EverQuest you remember? Is this what you want? If the GMs stop listening to you, you're basically going to be playing on a Sullon Zek type server, sans the actual fun parts.
As a blue server, you can't have your cake and eat it too. You chose to opt out of the competition, and you agreed to play nicely. If you want to be competitive, you should come to Red99 at release. But if you want to exp and raid in relative peace, Blue99 is supposed to be the better choice.
I'm sorry for being confrontational, but I've been watching these squabbles for months now, and they have only gotten worse over time. Maybe I don't know what life is supposed to be like on blue servers because I never played on one. But I do remember on live sometimes thinking to myself, "Gee, I wish I had played on a blue server. Instead of my guild being PK'd and losing our raid target, we'd be on a rotation and on generally good terms with the other guilds."
What possible reason is there for TR or TMO to be playing on a blue server? You're already at war, and killing one another.
