I posted this in a server chat thread first, thinking the thread was here. Deleted it, and am reposting where it belongs.

These blue guilds do not seem to be doing their blue thing right. Supporting one another, not hindering, would be in the best interests of everyone on your server. You're ruining the perks a blue server has over a red server, and it's a very terrible thing. By playing blue, you signed up for no actual competition between other players, right? So why do you insist on trying to force competition into the mix? Camping at trak to kill him within seconds of him spawning is not being competitive, it's being petty. Participating in forum flame wars is not being competitive, either. Ruining your own fun, and another's, in an effort to get ahead is a cycle of destruction.

Maybe I was misinformed, but I always thought blue EQ servers had rotations on the big spawns. And I thought you generally played nice. Training, KSing, hacking and crying to GMs? Is this the EverQuest you remember? Is this what you want? If the GMs stop listening to you, you're basically going to be playing on a Sullon Zek type server, sans the actual fun parts.

As a blue server, you can't have your cake and eat it too. You chose to opt out of the competition, and you agreed to play nicely. If you want to be competitive, you should come to Red99 at release. But if you want to exp and raid in relative peace, Blue99 is supposed to be the better choice.

I'm sorry for being confrontational, but I've been watching these squabbles for months now, and they have only gotten worse over time. Maybe I don't know what life is supposed to be like on blue servers because I never played on one. But I do remember on live sometimes thinking to myself, "Gee, I wish I had played on a blue server. Instead of my guild being PK'd and losing our raid target, we'd be on a rotation and on generally good terms with the other guilds."

What possible reason is there for TR or TMO to be playing on a blue server? You're already at war, and killing one another.

No one really knows what the future is gonna be, but shit really changed today, the raiding scene won't be the same as it was before. The consistently biased behavior of the server staff has ruined a lot of peoples EQ experiences here, including mine. At the moment I'm just trying to gear an alt out so I can get away from all of it. TR's won this one, and just a warning to any guilds who try to compete with them in the future: don't even try, its their server.

the reason to keep playing, sir, is simple. PIXELS. there were rotations on blue servers(during live) because the players welcomed the competition. here, on the other hand, competition for raid targets is resented. you must understand that this is AN EMULATED SERVER. it holds a quarter of the pop that live servers held during the same time frame(classic-velious). of course there's going to be more guild drama here than elsewhere. there are only 2 guilds that have the numbers to consistently ZERG dragons. why is that? because TMO/TR members tend to not have a much* of a life outside EQ. there are a few other guilds that can maintain a semi presence in the planes, but, tmo/tr could give two shits about the planes. most of their members have fapped those zones into oblivion. all that's left now is to continue to "key up" their members(via trak spawns) so they can maybe, one day, be allowed into veeshan's peak. your forum handle is "softcore pk" so i cannot tell if you are trolling server chat or simply that ignorant, but honestly, back track thru some forum archives and you'll find a very simple answer to your very simple question. PIXELS. PIXELS, my dear Watson. The top 2 of this server want control of all the good pixels. if that means destroying the servers integrity via cheating/continuous bitching, so be it, they could give a shit less. they only want pixels.
