I Chatted with eki yesterday said hey pal you starting curse on live right , the best pvp guild in eq history EVER?

he said , im not in touch with old pals , and i dont want to start it alone , but in truth i know some of you are out there , to my old pals

I wasn't with the original crew, but when I joined my running paintrain was mostly with Jobel, Yomecis, Volture, Baota, hmmm grinding my brain to remember....

Was full of the best players around!

I played a wizard named Stanex(x) the Devastator in the curse for a while. I remember volture, ekii, salaiin, and a few others. I sold at some point though so no idea if the person that bought my account stayed in your guild or not.

Were you around when we CoH'd down into sleeper's tomb to gank during the pve guild zerg on kerafrym?

It was on RZ and when Zek was formed it disbanded completely from the remaining 15ish that were there at the end.

If Stenk plays i'll be fkn ecstatic. If the Curse starts up on live, I'm in. I was never a part of the guild, but I camped at level 44 to fight Stenk and his crew alot. Those were my favorite memories from RZ.

while i was in foh for 2 years before joining horsemen of doom , i must say foh had tons of awesome pks

but it had alot of flunkies , groupies , wannnabee's etc that come along with having a big pvp guild

while i will gauge foh as being top dawg of lowbie pvp

curse rocked endgame players like no one did , and they did it in baz gear

I secretly ran with Curse quite often on my Cleric. Fairly certain it was with Stenk and Funge.

Stenk being a SK ogre and Funge if I am remembering this correctly. Iksar monk? Was very long time ago.

I believe that iksar monk you are thinking of is me, however my memory is bad so i don't remember how many of those we actualy had in the guild hehe. I was Grickus, i lead the guild for a while......

That was before Grickus had his Dathor's Great Hammer..that looks like an Imbued Fighter's Staff, I had one too, they were just O.K. for what you could buy from another player if you couldn't get a Tstaff. Hell, I never fought with a Tranquil Staff, was always spending plat on Crystallized Pumice for dispells Lol. After awhile I was dispelling blind even. Grickus got pretty powerful with the Dathor's, I'd say it even rivaled a Primal Velium Brawl Stick.

Hopefully Grickus got a nice duel from Ghecko, after a 3v1 it looks like, but I doubt it :p What made me laugh is Ascending Dawn were healing me by Plane of Justice exit just to get me to kill Ghecko, but at that point I just wanted to turn around and drop the AD Lol...which is what should have happened instead of letting those bastards even heal.

I'd have to say the old Jinxat who changed his name to Goatleaf was one of the tougher fights (but it wasn't even a fight...he hit me a few times so quick near book in great divide I didn't even see him really.) He had an Abashi's Rod of Disempowerment or some such weapon. He was old Wudan, and attended the monk BOTB. Didn't get a chance to joust em even...3-4 swipes it was over lol. Then we just PK'd a few times together. The only joust (or non-joust..) I ever had where I could give the challenger total props.
