...is this a joke? A quick google search can discredit pretty much anything said in Zeitgeist or other similar movies.

I was in middle-school when it happened. My school went into a panic and everyone went home early. My parents were watching the live coverage non-stop and I kept trying to get them to switch to Mummies Alive and Batman Beyond, but they just wouldn't.

I was in gym class actually. Our teacher came into the gym, told us the country was under attack, and then left. .... .... So we assumed he was gonna take care of it o_O But that also left us as very confused 8th graders ;P

Watching it all happen on live television.

I had the day off work and I sat and watched the television coverage from the moment the second plane hit till the next morning. Those scenes were and still are the most evocative I've ever witnessed. The force of the explosion; people hurling themselves downward a thousand feet to avoid incineration; everyone crying; the president before of a class full of children, just a baffled, hollow-eyed panic-ghoul; those towers collapsing with what We feared might be tens of thousands of people still inside.
By the next morning, my penis was just a meaty nub in a field of matted, bloody pubes. On account of all the masturbating.

yup. Day one was crazy. Everyone thought the attacks would continue to every major city in north america for some reason.
The terrorists (aka george bush) just got lazy I guess.

What do you guys think of the memorial in place of the towers? In a lot of my Architecture courses we've had sections where all we did was look at the different design concepts. Saw this photo last night on Twitter. More in love with the photography than the memorial itself I think.

The endlessly descending waterfall\pool thing they've got going on at Ground Zero is weird and depressing. It just reminds me of two giant toilets flushing in perpetuity, and two thousand tortured souls circling the drain eternally. I mean, I get it; the terrorists dropped the ultimate deuce. It just seems tasteless.

I was listening to NPR yesterday and they said the waterfalls into the pools were meant to represent "tears and crying". That seems kind of morbid. I mean, I understand the entire event was morbid as fuck, but I don't like the thought of solidifying the sadness like that.

methinks your government loves the idea of 'solidifying the sadness like that', which is why they did it. terror/ism is a+ for the ecomeny $$$$$$

I'm skeptical of this. Mummies Alive played when I was in grade 3, and the terror attacks happened four years later. I'm pretty sure it didn't play that long. I think Glitch is actually an NWO agent.
