Sky messed up, loadscreens not working

Since the patch yesterday my load screen isn't working correctly, and my in game sky is very messed up. It is all black, with a giant purple ball for the sun, and that is all that is visable. I'm assuming this has something to do with the patch, because it was working fine before the patch, but after I copied the files it broke these 2 things. I tried recopying them later, but that did not work.

Can I get some support with any of this please?

Also, this has nothing to do with permissions, windows 7, or any other computer fail problems like that. It is related to the patch files.

I found the following string in my dbg.txt, perhaps it has something to do with this? Can anyone else confirm they do/don't have this string? If it is this, what would have changed between the previous patch and this one that may have caused this?

very interesting, i didnt think anything about it because i literally installed a new gpu right before patch but i am also having simply a black screen when loading from character select to in game and while zoning, where as before since i have clicked "no loading image" it would just freeze my view and show a loading bar over my frozen view

Fixed by reverting my resources folder to version 13 from 14 as I suspected. Further than that I'm not sure what file in that folder was doing it, but now my loading screen and my sky are both working like normal. *shakes fist*

had a feeling it was the resource folder since that is were you place the art for the loading screen (atleast thats where i put the kunark one that i use and it works)

ill have a look in there but maybe someone with the know already can tell us why or where in the folder is the information pertaining to the weather etc.

edit: ok, figured it out, lolz

it seems when i first started p99 i made a backup of everything that was being patched. i changed the name of my resources folder to resources.back and took the folder from the update and placed it in its place without looking inside to see how closely they matched. just looked inside my resources.back folder and it has 3 folders and some other files not in my resource folder

WaterSwap
.....
/facepalm

movied all of them into the folder and will check tomorrow though im sure it will all be fixed
