IB/TR outs their own people when a rule is broken/exploited. They are reported to the Staff even when a suspicion comes up. The rules is something that is taken quite serious by me. Been a couple times I pushed for more severe punishments than what was handed out as well. When I actually had a GM account on the server I banned members of IB for rule issues.

I'm embarrassed to say I once wore the tags of IB/TR now. I agree 100% the bans should be permanent. People have known the rules for a LONG time. Even worse, they could have jeopardized Xzerion's position as a developer with him not even knowing what was going on. Despite not being able to control him with it, when you first get to the gold saucer and try doing the arena (when you're initially WAY too low level to even attempt it) the only way to plausibly do it without cheating it throw Vincent in there with a Limit Break (the Frankenstein transformation if I remember correctly...chainsaw doesn't have enough HP) and just watch him faceroll the entire thing.
