8 minutes later we, TR, move to the ramp to engage. We down Prot and move up.

First, Slippery charges in, double DA's, more or less buying his guild 30 seconds to recover since at this point he has FTE and we can't move in until Trak resets. We back up and wait. It's pretty obvious that we're going to leave Jumps/4 Juggs up since they don't agro if you hug left. I make the call for Daliant to spend the fight frapsing the Juggs. See below link.

So, what's the ruling? Is that Winterfresh begins to cast a spell, followed by 4 Juggs rolling over him, right in the middle of our Trak kill? The first story is 'We (TMO) were ready to engage, Winterfresh was training the Juggs away." Does it look like that?

Forget about the fact they were trying to snipe FTE, claiming they were 'ready' 8 minutes after a 50 person wipe with all their disciplines used, that's cost them 3 solid members already. Forget the fact that Winterfresh is Durison. Forget that we had to kill Traknon, then Jumps, then 4 Juggs and it cost us Sev. Just, simply, is that raid interference?

This training situation is probably top 15 least important things which have happened in the world in the last week. Nobody is disputing that. However, it's easy to see the logic when the life of children are at stake, and the same logic can be applied to things which matter less. Whoever owns the Winterfresh account needs to take a time out, whether because that person actually caused the train or left his account in the hands of someone else who caused a train.

TMO claims that they are an ethical organization if you ask them. My question then is what is being done within the TMO organization to live up to that claim? Are consequences being visited upon the guilty party? Are any of you TMO guys ethical enough to step up here and say that this action was wrong? ..or are you all going to laugh it off and justify this action as TR whining?

I declare that this was not a training incident. This was an incident that could of been resolved through the use of something called "Player vs Player."

See, "Player vs Player" involves one Player, who we'll call "Player A," and another player that we'll call "Player B." During these types of training incidents, Player A could of just attached Player B and killed Player B. Then the problem would of been over.

Instead there was a fraps recorded, a thread created, and a bunch of whiny pussies.

Couldn't agree more...but P99 has a lot fewer people running things than EQLive did back in the day. If they didn't acknowledge fraps videos it would take so damn long to look through logs and everything when someone petitions something like this that nothing else would ever get finished. The real solution is for the raid guilds to just grow the fuck up (yes, all of you, even those I consider friends)...but with people like Kinsawt and Durison having their hands in running things it will never happen.

Its not like you can just go into Options and tell the client to show only your own/group/everyone/NPC spell effects is it?? Or that you can change the distance that effects are shown?

As a bard I can tell you I turn off effects for me because its a PITA to have it running every 3 seconds for 4+ song effects at once.
