The Launcher won't even start the client on PCs that don't have at **LEAST** 6GB of RAM.

If they release this game before the holidays do NOT buy it. It's in fucking terrible shape right now.

I had an HP LAPTOP with a 8600 mobile card in it...and was running Vanguard fine on the day of release.

I had a piece of shit 256mb gfx card, which was integrated with the whole 1gig stick of ram i had, and a 1.8ghz processor and I ganked hella ppl in some noobie cave during the vanguard beta til they nerfed my sword. sure it ran like shit, but it was playable

Other then that if you play on a pvp server you can die everywhere but the newbie zone.

Although I'd really like it to succeed, but I haven't heard about any new innovations that it makes other than it's quest system. I enjoyed SWG back in the day, because it was so open-ended, and you could essentially do whatever you wanted with your toon.

I have been Flagged for testing also but I don't think its going to be worth my time. I have no intention on playing the game and i applied for Beta for a goof. Although I hope it does well I hear people are looking to break away from WoW and this game might be it.. too bad Vanguard didn't get its just deserves i played it till the very end /QQ

Honestly, you kind of renewed my interest in the game... Partly because Mass Effect I/II were awesome, and BioWare makes great Single Player-RPGs.

I'm really hoping to get into the Beta myself. I don't want to spend 50ish on a new game, to find out it sucks; Like Rift.

Rift wasn't bad, it just had a very quick leveling grind to nothing at end game. The concept was good, execution not so much. I'd play it in a year or so when it's established itself.

Of course, it has a PvP grind worse than WoW Vanilla, unless they fixed that.

Decent game so far. Unfortunately there's only 4 classes essentially -- the light and dark side are exact mirrors of each other.

**LOTS** of bugs in the current beta - will be interesting to see the next build. Graphics look GREAT on max settings.
