Honestly, it’s pretty frustrating that quake raids keep landing around 02:00 CET.
I get that the server is US-based, but for EU players this basically means we’re locked out of a big part of endgame unless we wreck our sleep.

This complaint isn't even remotely rooted in reality. Quake times are wildly erratic. Anybody who complains should be flogged.

The quakes are represent a classic server reset. Servers were on USA time when they reset… this is classic. To change it to your time would not be classi

Actually classic server resets often happened at odd hours to minimize disruption. They aren't gonna piss off their customers by taking the servers down in primetime, but that is typically when p99 quakes happen. I think it works about as well as it can.

What would be nice though is if they could exempt scout and angry gob from repopping on quakes, because getting those items is already obnoxious enough, but then missing the damn roll and not knowing when the new tod is because a quake happened when you weren't around makes them even worse.

Wildly erratic...in the confines of US time zones :P

This is the most bass ackwards statement I've ever read on here...spawning them on quakes makes the other rolls less competitive and easier to determine the tod....

Because the middle of the afternoon on a weekday is a US focused time to quake?

Nobody is ever going to be happy with all of the quake times.

But one thing is for certain: The more bitching, the fewer quakes.

Be happy you can attend the ones you can attend, and I promise not to complain about the ones that happen when I'm in the middle of a work call.

My beef with it is twofold: people don't prioritize scout on quakes because they're off killing big targets, so unless you're actually there whenever the quake scout ends up going down the new TOD could be hours offset from where it would have been pre-quake, and you have to go hunting for an accurate tod from whoever might have it.

Angry gob does get killed basically instantly on quakes, but it's a 3 day spawn, so if you've been waiting 2.9 days and you run out to the store and it quakes, there goes your attempt for another 3 days. That happened to me several times before I finally won a roll and it was super annoying.

Less competitive yeah, but not easier to predict at all.
