I've been coming up with ways to revive the game a bit and get new players...

marketing campaign starting with a short promotional youtube video. i have a friend thats a videographer that was willing to help and let us use his equipment. All I needed was someone to come pick me up because i got my license suspended. Nothing.

P99 promotional larping/buhurt. I'm in las vegas and have a ton of cardboard, super glue, markers, and face paint in my apartment and was looking for folks that were interested in making p99 armor and then larp and cast spells at each other around popular areas in las vegas to promote the game. Nothing.

I'm done coming up with ideas to keep this game alive. I'm just going to play it and have fun.

In fairness, trading via discord is probably the bigger factor in lower EC turnout. You don't need to semi AFK in EC anymore. You can just sell over discord and coordinate the trade when-ever and where-ever. Most people would rather be playing the game instead of sitting in EC.

Personally I prefer trading in EC. I always found it fun. But even I use discord lol.

Level up, make friends, raid. Do what you like. This is what makes Everquest great. When you're done, you put your characters up on the mantle alongside the others' who've done the same.

i think its fake, the lack of corpses tells me its shortly after the server came back up from maint on blue. plus whenever the servers go back up its sunrise ingame time, thats clearly noon-ish and maybe 10-15 minutes have passed
