Hello everyone,

My wife and I recently returned. I'm playing a gnome Enc and she a Clr. We're wondering where people go to level. Gfay was empty. Crushbone had no one. We traveled to EC, but it appeared Orc 1 &2 were being used to PL.

Where do low level players who like to group go to level on green?

Thank you.

You can always /who all +/- 2 levels from your own and see where people are at, or reach out to individuals and see if they want to form up. For instance if you're level 10, "/who all 8-12" (or might be "8 12" without the dash, its been a long time I forget the syntax).

You don't really need anyone else in that duo, tho. Stock up on tiny daggers and use an animation for now, start charming ASAP. Just stick to super light blues / barely greens at first and the charm breaks won't be so harsh / frequent.

If I were in your shoes I would head to Warrens. Fantastic learner dungeon with high ZEM that level scales as you work your way in (the kobold pit fighters are especially awesome). Added bonus for rep gains which will make The Hole key super simple to get for both characters later on, which at 50+ becomes an absolute playground for enc+cleric duo.

The 1-15 population is pretty spread out on Green these days, but if you are dead set on going to zones that already have PUGs available - Unrest starts at around 12-15.

Here are some places I've seen pretty consistent pick-up groups happening on Green the last few months:

12 - 30: Unrest
20 - 40: Mistmoore
20 - 30: South Karana aviaks
25 - 35: Highkeep Goblins
40 - 50: City of Mist
50 - 60: Velketor's Labyrinth
50 - 60: Karnor's Castle

I've also seen the rare group in places like Befallen (5-20), Najena (15-30), Solusek's Eye (25-35), Nagafen's Lair (35-60), Splitpaw (30-45), Crystal Caverns (30-45). This batch of zones is typically pretty empty, and it seems to be a BYOG situation, rather than PUG.

But as kjs said, that duo can fit into a group nicely, or you can pick up a monk, warrior, ranger, pally or SK and hit one of the many other zones.

Paw / CT so woefully underused. The ZEM is nutty.

FWIW: I solo'd my paladin - Warrens --> Permafrost --> CT --> (grouped a bit in CoM) --> SolB --> Hole

For finding places to group with others, try https://wiki.project1999.com/Group_Hunting_Spots. For places where you and your wife can duo, try https://wiki.project1999.com/Per-Level_Hunting_Guide.

The latter page has a lot more options.

Thank you for the replies everyone. I'll clarify below:

We did this, sort of, but it wasn't that helpful or there weren't many online at the time we did it.

You don't really need anyone else in that duo, tho. Stock up on tiny daggers and use an animation for now, start charming ASAP. Just stick to super light blues / barely greens at first and the charm breaks won't be so harsh / frequent.

My wife and I only duo as a last resort. This is the #1 killer of immersion and nostalgia for us. We love grouping and meeting people. Chatting it up at an exp grind. That is our fun.

We'll definitely check these places out as we go. Thank you

Definitely some of my best P99 memories are the chat during the level grind in groups. I hope that's still occurring on green.

Yeah as pointed out around lvl 15 or so unrest and oasis tend to have some folks grouping and then from there someone already spelled out the common paths most the majority follow.

There are also leveling guilds on each server that generally cater to creating a community specific for people looking to group and level I think friendly druids is still that main one on Green but someone else may be more in the know on that piece.
