View Full Version : It's getting harder and harder to want to log in on Green

been a green player on and off since 2022. i did a stint from 2022-2023, another from late 2024-early 2025. and after some time away i got the itch to log back in.

but after just a few weeks back i gotta say this place (green) has really lost its luster. on tuesday night i tried to bring a group to solusek's eye, but there was a druid powerlevelling a monk in there and he was pulling like 20+ mobs at a time. he wouldnt respond to tells asking him where he was pulling from, and didnt leave much for us so we left. the next night i tried my level 57 shm in velks but got trained and died by someone who released their pet kobold without warning, just a few minutes into my play session. tonight like a masochist i logged back in this time again on my level 34 toon and the only zone anyone is congregating in is mistmoore, and there no room in groups.

maybe i had more time back then, but each session this week has been a serious bust and has taken up loads of my time. i was frustrated by another player being antisocial, some bad luck and lack of options each day across 3 days. the only "fun" that was had over the course of 2-3 hours of playing over 3 days was getting a group together, but that fun was quickly dashed by the druid powerleveller when we got there. i think like they say, 3 strikes your out.

Sometimes you just have really shitty luck. Maybe you'll pick up the game later and have a great time. I still think most of the people here are pretty cool and you can't say that about many games.

lol. I guess this is the outcome of nerfing bards and banning them from all the other zones?

Sounds typical. Some burnout wasteface completely zonked coming down off a speedball farming lower dogs probably just ran out the zone to take a diarrhea shit

yeah, and good luck trying to take initiative and gather a group "elsewhere." people are pissants and don't want to take the less beaten path when it comes to this level range, despite their being plenty of spots. Maybe if that peed barbarian Loraween's wiki worked people would be able to consult the "per level hunting guide" or whatever the fuck

All in all, sorry you don't got unwasted time

You started playing on Green the year it was supposed to recycle and start over. Actually, that might have been late 2021.

Now it's a clogged toilet just like Blue.

SolA is one of my favorite leveling zones also but it does get crazy during EXP bonus days. Christmas was brutal. For a couple days during Christmas those mobs had a rough go of it .... you could walk through that zone naked with no problem because not a single mob was up lol.

I had similar experience in Sol A over Christmas. It was brutal. Except, my group and I were there first, and people would just nonstop steamroll through and kill all the goblins, leaving nothing up for us.

They'd come in, not do a camp check, and just run through to get their holiday gifts. 2 of my friends quit playing p99 because of it.

These servers are really geared toward the people who have nothing better to do with their time than sit at their PCs for 8-12+ hours a day.

I'm in a similar boat, OP. I tried to come back a few months ago, but it seems like an uphill battle. And what i hear of the raid scene does not compel me to want to join in.

The only winners at raiding are those that have logged 1000s of hours of loot ration points. If you don't want to be that immersed it's probably best to just enjoy leveling, tradeskilling and whatever else but raiding.

And here I am, still nostalgic for the 3am Naggy bat phones of early blue. Wishing I still had the DRIVE and motivation

What happened to your tree cutting work? Is that only busy like late spring through summer?

if you get super bored and want a more social experience, I recommend WoW. you can PM me on here and I can add you to our Discord. Generally so many people on VC it can even be hard to speak, and I have to appear offline to avoid getting bombarded with invites.

Not sure how long I will personally be around after the 1st when MnM early access launches tho :p but it for sure is a lot of fun having a regular community to be with
