Can someone please indulge me? From my understanding, GMs were going to quake Hate for the Kingdom Monday Funday thing but the entire server was hit instead.
Then I was told Castle ganked all minis with 6 folks.
I'm sure that the truth is somewhere in between those notes and what actually happened, but I'd like to hear from the community.

Kingdom asked a GM to repop plane of hate for their monday funday hate clear, they said sure but warned them that people were camping the minis, so a lot of them were probably going to get sniped, and they were. This is a competitive server and if you want these epic bottlenecks you'll have to compete for them like everyone else.
And yes, the GM accidentally quaked the entire server so much dragon slaying ensued.

Competitive eh? I can't believe I'm saying this because if favors the well dwellers, but if it's competitive, then why aren't all minis fte? Outside zone?
Alternatively, Why don't fear golems have the same "camp" rule?
Because you can duo the hate minis? You can duo Phinny. Heck, I've seen a 60 Monk solo Phinny.
Because they have "placeholders"? Genuine question here, so the minis spawn whether or not a placeholder is up?
Two weeks ago or so, we got fte on magi and got kill but yielded loot to you Castle because of this absurd rule that was implemented. These kinds of things do not make it fun for newcomers. How do you expect the server to survive if you discourage new players from enjoying the game or having a chance at getting anything done because it's all been min/maxed and on farm mode for guilds/entities that "operate within the guidelines" that oddly favors them?
The only argument I can really think of is, the hate spawns are randomized, that's why hate minis and fear golems can't share the same camp rule. However, randomization isn't classic. Coercer and magi spawn in the revs, high priest spawns in the church, etc.
Also, why should a gm respawn a server on request? Even a zone.

That seems to be the state of the server these days, which is to be expected: it's approaching 7 years since Green launched.
To keep things truly classic: What if p99 accounts had a time limit associated with them? The number of hours between March 1999 - December 2001. After that, your account poofs. This would stop people from playing on a time locked server years after having experienced all of the content, getting all of the loot, etc. Because some folks just don't want to leave their "top" positions here.

Hate had an FTE ruleset. It was changed because 1 person was monopolizing all of the minis for years. Furthermore several pages of investigative research were provided regarding this 1 person and their suspected scripting and skirting the PNP policy.
The expected cheats are hard to confirm/substantiate so it appears CSR deemed that they didn't meet the requirement for taking PNP action against the individual and instead agreed to a new meta for the zone to try and curb 1 individual from outcompeting/cheating the entire server out of hate loot.
The current ruleset is the traditional camp claiming ruleset (this change was applied to other competitive mobs that don't require a raid force like drusella sathir as well). Its technically an outdoor zone so camp rules dictate that an individual or group of individuals can claim a single spawn point by camping there within line of sight and keeping the area cleared. Just like any other zones you can do a camp check and force people to clarify the exact spawns they are camping so there is no ambiguity when a mob spawns.

Classic had rotations on a couple servers where you had a set number of time to kill your targets or clear the zone. This would fix a ton of issues and make it more fun for most people but for the sweatiest of the sweat lords removing the ability to deny pixels to others is unthinkable.

Does it make OP feel better or worse that the exact loot he is referencing as being yielded to castle is currently being marketed for sale.

Anything Castle gets from hate minis in an open guild bid, if you see WTS messages for earth staves or SEoCs, that's Diddlydee.
Edit: That specific earth staff that was yielded to us which he was talking about was bid out to mages in the guild, it was not sold. It's already been turned into an epic now.

I will attempt to help.
Firstly, the Castle people in Hate did not "gank" any minis; we fairly FTE'd them versus Kingdom et al. And we did not get all of the minis that spawned. We got I think 2.

"Alternatively, Why don't fear golems have the same "camp" rule?" They are classified by the staff as raid mobs, so they can't be camped. Why is Hate a camp now? To limit the power of one group to monopolize it.

The respawn on each spawn point is 3 days plus or minus 12 hours. You can take a group up there 3 days after a quake, clear an area, and claim it as your camp. Nobody can stop you. In fact, we in Castle will applaud you, because it will create more competition for the Cartel, our main competitors in Hate.
I urge you to direct your concerns about rules to the staff, and please don't demonize my guild for playing by these rules. We also have up-and-coming new players seeking epics etc. We don't monopolize anything.

The only instance I can recall of an earth staff MQ being sold by us was because someone offered us a Ruby tear MQ in return I think.
Epic bottlenecks and cure shields are part of a short list of items we have that you aren't allowed to bid on to sell.

If it helps any neither of the ranger primary or mage epic are game changing. Mage epic pet gonna help mages farm droga a little better and rangers still can’t tank worth a damn even with earthcaller

Mage epics are amazing for powerleveling toons from around 39 -52. Now that every guild is basicslly full of bots their just really fun for like,ct and hot.
