The minor healing spell is listed as healing 10 HPs. In actuality it only heals for 9. This is a consistent healing amount, no matter how often you cast it or what level you are.

Non-cleric classes heal at 90% effectiveness. This is not a bug.

FWIW, don't use Minor Healing (or Light Healing). Your class's first defensive buff heals for more.

I'm playing a ranger, so it's the only heal I have at the moment. I don't get a better one for another 4 levels on my character.
I wasn't aware that Rangers only get to 90% though, so I guess that is not something to worry about.

Good advice for clerics, paladins, shamans. The druid/ranger equivalent buff ("Skin like Wood") doesn't add HP so they have to use the direct heal spell. Still cast minor heal anyway on the clr/pal/shm, sometimes, to skill up alteration since the buff raises abjuration.

Odd, the wiki thinks it does: https://wiki.project1999.com/Skin_Like_Wood
EDIT: Nevermind, I see it adds max but not HP. Will fix the page

Hybrids have healing spells so that they can speed up the health regeneration that warriors have to sit through by spamming 10hp heals to get their health bar to full... then having to sit for 5 or 10 minuets longer than the warrior while they wait for their mana bar to regenerate.
