Why would you bind in mistmoore in this situation?

I think his point is to promote perma over mistmoore. Better zem and mostly empty.

I have a solo cleric there right now and them zem feels great but mob level disparity can be annoying. When you get there at 15 or so at the entrance you'll have yellow and reds mixed with blues and when the blues start greening the next area has more yellows in it. Past entrance there's also a lot of casters. So you kinda have to group if not twinked but it is currently not happening. If you have a melee with fungi, seahorse belt and a solid weapon the exp/hour is hard to beat. If not, you have to be extra careful and/or kill a bunch of greens until you level so the yellows con at least even.

It is also an annoying spot for evil races who can't sneak because nearest vendors/trainer/bank is in qeynos sewers so it is a long run with a bunch of red con guards to dodge.

But the main reason permafrost pugs aren't happening is because it is a long ass way from everything for most level 15-20 toons only to get there and not being able to do much if no one else is there.

The mob density and level distribution in perma always feels kinda crazy to me.

Doesn't perma have the same problem as CT of healers casting through walls?

Not as bad but you can always pull back anyway, I haven't found it a real problem in permafrost since it is only 1 level really and it is mostly linear. Ability to split is a big boon in some places though.

i love perma but I always expect it to be like MM equivalent level wise, but its really like, somewhere in-between crushbone and MM.

I show up and am like wtf everything is light blue and green! :(

Like Sol A feels more like MM level wise.

I never level in runneye, but i bet its that same level as perma?

Split Paw is also pretty close for xp range to MM

I did a twink paladin solo in Perma for a bit. I roamed around between the Archaeologist and the Preacher. Amazing XP, but I was pretty damn twinked.

It was well worth the trip out there.

It's a beautiful dungeon, it's just so damn easy to miss during progression :(

There is a goblin just before preacher which always spawns as blue at 30, but the accompanying goblin always spawns as non aggro. It is a good fellow.

I'm gonna say the wizards / clerics in permafrost make it more fun. The dungeon isn't so dense they are too stacked on top of each other letting you carefully position to avoid heals, but it is also dense enough that you can usually work out spots where you can use proximity to stop the mob you are fighting running.

Both clerics and wizards like to cast their AoE, which adds in the fun mechanic of corner dodging their spells, rewarding attentive gameplay.

If you are on a class which can befriend animals, like shaman, druid or enchanter, then there is a mini dungeon full of wolves where you can spawn a large dire (always level 24) which absolutely tears the goblins up too!

The ZEM values are not accurate on the wiki and the results will not justify the annoyance.
