Just doing it for Trakanon is dumb, and a rotation won't work without...

1. Everyone agreeing (this won't happen because people act like children when it comes to raid mobs and loot and having to be 'the best' even though most high end players on P99 are actually pretty bad.)

2. Unfortunate necessary GM intervention when someone steps out of turn

3. It would have to be set up for everything- Trakanon, Naggy, Vox, Severilous, Faydedar, Cazic-Thule, Innoruuk, Venril Sathir, Dracoliche, Fear Golems, PoHate armor mobs, PoFear armor mobs...just about anything with a timer longer than 4 hours that can't be solo'd.

Although, a rotation means better things for the server. Why? Who is going to want to go into Velious without their epic, while some other guild is busy destroying the pieces?

Also, speaking of Velious, who is going to want to spend hours clearing PoGrowth to finally get down to the last hour or so of clearing, only to have some competing guild send someone in to aggro Tunare, thus aggroing the zone, dying, and having all of those mobs come to you because now they're social?

Veeshan's Peak is going to be a fucking nightmare if people can't work together. Guilds may be more inclined to help each other CR if they aren't racing for kills.

I forgot about those respawning satyrs in plane of growth with zonewide aggro radius. Large outdoor zone with several raid targets surrounded by trash? Considering what happens on p99 in fear whenever a raid target pops, pogrowth is going to be a scary place

Only reason it wouldn't work is because the people heading up TMO (no idea who that is), TR (Excluding Xzerion, even though he's the leader from what I remember dude had so much going on he couldn't play nearly as much as he wanted to and officers were running the show for a while), Durison, and whoever else are just far too immature to even attempt an adult approach to things for a month.

You think Growth is going to be a mess? Try having multiple raids rushing up NToV, or even WW dragons, having someone *accidentally* pull a little too close so another raid ends up wiping because of extra AoE, and Kael...omfg Kael...and pulling Dain? Good luck. I don't even want to see what's going to happen if someone actually attempts to do a ring war on this server.

I'm pretty sure I saw TMO all up in Karnors on the 4/5th yet they still lost out on Venril Sathir.

I don't know what the big deal is. If you are sitting in the immediate area for 2-3 days farming whatever is in the zones (Tranq/Juggs-Tola-Prot-Reet-King) there really is no "fight."

If something is due in 2 days, sit your ass there for 2 days completely ruling the zone with an iron fist.

If TMO did that, they could easily take the next Trakanon encounter, guaranteed. Whether they win against said encounter is assumed opinion.

Divinity has ALWAYS been the #3 guild, because they show up within an hour of a monster spawning. You will NEVER get your dragon if you show up that late.

Transc & Divinity were crying hard when Fearplane was put in. Big Salty rolled up with Fish Bait and got 2 draco and a CT shot just by being in the zone, accessible to the situation while accomplishing things in the immediate area, ie. Farming loots.


The game hasn't changed whatsoever. Individuals just don't want to commit their time for the cause.

There is no real urgency when your competition is under 20 people. It was a desperation pull.

We weren't really in KC in force. We told people they could camp at the entrance if they wanted, but being not far into the window, we only had a few people in some groups there before the pop. It wasn't like the previous VS shitshow.

i remember i came back to vztz 3.0 after my brief stint as GM.
A year into the server, my level 30 warrior and ogre shaman work their way into raiding/competition level.

My bro skunky and crew invite me so I join up.

Turns out there is like this alliance thing where three somewhat shitty guilds had 'teamed up' to handle the Dream Team.

Well we went to KC and proceeded to get ass raped by The Dream Team..I'd like to say it was roughly 30 on 20... we lost,they got VS.

That night baby jesus sent a message to me...Make the zerg empire...acquire pixels...


I convinced three guilds to merge into one...became pvp main assist/co guildleader to 40+ toons with maybe 5 competent pvpers and 20 or so raid geared toons.

Well we won the majority of loots, and won some key battles over Trakanon.

I got an argent protector, and full raid loot. I was one of maybe 5 toons with an AP.

I had fulfilled baby jesus's prophecy, but I was not happy. We got raped with 20 or so toons on sevirolous..I was fed up at this point as is, warrior epic is a huge pain in the ass, and alot of the raid geared toons had quit playing, so I was working with B team...


Just so happened, rift beta had kicked in full force. I left White Knight and began to Rift...

White Knight collapsed shortly thereafter, the temporary zerrg alliance remained in memory alone.
