Which sin is red?

I'd say it's envy, in that it's envious of the other servers population and of other games where pvp wasn't just a slapped on afterthought.

...where pvp wasn't just a slapped on afterthought.

The server is the sin of sloth. The players commit the sin of envy, as you say.

Red is at least two sins.

I've never thought the PVP in EQ was actually good. The combat itself. But I remember being so excited when Tallon Zek first launched, and there was a huge gnome vs elf war at the Lfay zone-line. I was a gnome warrior who managed to get their hands on a minotaur axe at very low level and was one shotting other low level elves.

Also when I played on Sullon Zek it was the scaredest I had ever been. It felt like a horror survival game. Was constantly typing /who and would get paranoid I was being stalked, and then realize I wasn't being paranoid when the same name appeared in 4 different zones and it was clear they were stalking me etc. But even then, you can see how dead Sullon Zek was .... because most zones had no one in them, which is why you panicked when you typed /who and saw someone pop up. This was back when EQ was still really popular too, the premiere PVP server was already dead etc.

But yeah, the actual combat feels bad NGL.
