each kobold only gives 1 faction and you needed like 475 to begin with (for dubious), but not sure how much teeth give

It always takes longer than you think it does...

The faction range is 4000 total (-2000 max kos to +2000 max ally) so if you're killing mobs that only give 1 faction per it could take thousands of kills depending on where you're starting and ending. There is a faction page on the wiki that breaks down each individual bucket.

The closer you get to the extremes the bigger the buckets are

Yeah that tracks. I always see high level players killing the lowbie kobolds in Warrens and claim they're "factioning"

Really, the named kobolds and the larger kobolds in the throne room have bigger faction hits - and then still it maxes at +5 or +10.

The real faction is from killing Erudin guards.

I'm only level 11. I foolishly thought this would be an easy way for me to get my hands on some ringmail. On the plus side I've got about 20pp worth of silver on me. God only knows how much copper I've destroyed. Currently at apprehensive.

You can vendor in paineel at apprehensive. I have a method I’ve used many times to help others get to indifferent from apprehensive, temporarily, to turn in molars. Once you’re indifferent naturally you can turn them in yourself

Yeah it takes alot of kobalds. I brazier leveled my little cleric there(bettor gnome) like lvl 4-16?maybe 18 and she was still glowers

If you can ever find anyone killing Erudin guards, ask if you can whack each of them once. That will get your faction up super easily.
