Entalon's Quest not in Game

Entalon does not respond to hails. He does not respond to 'What is your master's quest?'

And he ate my quest items :(

The earliest Wayback machine for the Allakhazam page (https://web.archive.org/web/20010702184812/http://eqdb.allakhazam.com/quest.html?quest=754) is from April 2001 (but as Teddie already noted, the comments clearly place it in the classic era).

Entalon gives a quest when charmed. He is looking for the scribblings of Jarldyn. A Feir'Dal has stolen them.The scribblings will be illegible.If u find them bring them back along with an emerald plume and he will grant u an audience with his mast. Be warned the trip may be one way. A Feir'Dal is a woodelf i'm told. Since they illegible is most like a illegible scroll. Anyone have any ideas?

Interestingly though, this site lists it as an unsolved quest, in 2002:

I'm not certain, but it seems Verant may have started to implement the quest in the classic era, but only got around to finishing it post-classic.

It's unsolved in 2002 in the sense that the quest it was for wasn't created yet I believe, but it ended up being part of the Shaman Iksar Quest line.

This is fixed on test. He was casting a port spell but something wasn't allowing the spell to land because he was still charmed. He will now port you and your group to the correct location on completion of his quest.

It does appear Entalon should be responding to hails/prompts, though.

Once the 6th Shaman Skull quest is implemented, players will have to reach Atheling the classic way.

If you go to the Burning Woods outside the Sarnak Fort/Chardok there you will see 2 guard towers. The top of the East Guard Tower is reachable. You must go back 150 feet from the gate on the zone wall. There is a spot there where you can climb high enough to be above the roof of the guard tower. Fire up levitate and scale of the wolf. Then run straight at the tower, preferably in windowed mode. You should run right in. Inside you will meet an NPC named Atheling Plague.
