All servers merge to red. Everybody has an epic PVP battle server vs. server. Multiboxing is allowed.

Winner has their server + characters survive. Loser loses their server and characters. Green 2.0 takes it's place.

Red gets merged into the winning server as well. Red 2.0 starts.

if you are ''pet tracking'' for days in PoH and able to answer to a mini popping within seconds, you should also be able to answer within seconds to a GM checking that you are at your desk

seriously - i know 6 players alone, who were active raiders before Castle became 1/3rd the entire raiding population of the server.

and the thing is, Castle is really bad at raids, and they wind up training and wiping other guilds - causing the other guilds to spend time recovering because Castle bad.

despite Castle being 1/3 of green population, they finally just got a seat at the big boys table (because large swaths of raiders from Kingdom and Good Guys left p99) - and now that Castle is competing on high-value targets and ?unintentionally? griefing other seasoned raiders with badness - more have left.

so you only have yourselves to blame.

Every guild causes headaches and frustration all the time, and no less than <Castle> does. There's always going to be someone who does something stupid, someone who isn't paying attention, or disastrous miscommunications, regardless of guild. This is simply the reality of having multiple guilds all constantly trying to one-up each other for every mob in the game. The endless cycle of finger-pointing that is the P99 raid scene has been like this from the start. People aren't leaving because of any one guild. Remember back when <Seal Team> was around and practically everyone who wasn't in that guild seemed to unanimously agree that they were awful, yet the server was thriving? Welcome to P99, enjoy your stay.

I don't know about autotrack, but I've personally seen the Hate tracker two-box on many occasions during the months I tracked for my Mage's epic. Now, to be fair, some of those times were him 2-boxing a cleric to rez our guild's tracker (he's a very nice cheater) ... but I also saw him 2-box to rez himself.

The guy has been up in Hate farming the minis for years at this point. You'd imagine the staff could easily check the logs and see "hate farming enchanter dies, cleric from a VPN IP address shows up a minute later, and rezzes him" ... happening over, and over ... and either see the pattern, or at least take the time to watch him.

But apparently they can't, because again, the guy has been up there doing it for years.

if you just have fun and raid with your guild to get loot you want whenever you can catch a batphone then it's good fun and you can come out with plenty of BIS gear unscathed as long as you ignore the sweatlords

the only caveat of course is that if you're a mage or ranger you'll have a more difficult time getting your epic because of the hate mafia

Seeing various forms of reports of this since I first started years ago is what kept me from ever playing this seriously. Its fine when you got a bad itch and just want to lvl some old school eq. but I just cant take any toon above mid 40s cause of the type of shit that is waiting at end game. Usually got the itch taken care of and just delete the toon to start fresh whenever.

TBH, If you just want to lvl to a point that you get bored and don't care about raiding/epics P99 is hard to beat. Having experienced instanced raids on live TLP and PQ, no way can i do any end game on EQ that doesnt have instanced raiding. To much drama over 26 year old pixels.

Training is good, it means there's more happening. Actual excitement. Lots of MOBs swarming should be the standard in raids to begin with, making it so every member of the raid needs to be active at all times and be on top of killing/CCing the adds.
