I gotta stop saying everyone is always going to be worse than their pics. This girl was GORGEOUS. Ho-ly cow, 8 or 9 out of 10. Could be a model. Amazing face and body. Smart, passionate about her job. She wanted to just keep talking shop about teaching and politics and behavioral health. Even when I walked her to her car we stood there me getting self conscious about possible pit stains standing out in the heat (still hot here at night) for another 20 minutes in front of her car. Finally I was like let me hug you goodbye before I get too sweaty here and it’s gross. That’s how I finally had to break it off because she just wanted to talk for hours

Went well. By far one of the hottest girls I’ve dated in what feels like a year, since K***** (name redacted) anyway. And smart too, might be smarter than me which she is going to lose points for. And he’s right, it should be, but it’s not for a lot of guys because they have garbage social skills which includes the ability to read others

And more importantly, this group of guys (or girls, this doesn’t go one way), not only would miss signs of interest, they would also miss signs of disinterest and keep pursuing

And those types of guys are who the “put on blast” videos are about. And even though there are a lot of guys who couldn’t read a room to save their life, the amount of guys targeted by some tik tok video or Reddit thread making fun of them is like 0.0000000001% of the population

So having a video making fun of you is a non issue. And even being rejected in an embarrassing way is a non-issue. Guys are getting brainwashed by the thousands to THINK it’s an issue though. Know why? Because a video of a girl politely telling a guy “no thanks” and the guy saying “no problem” isn’t fucking interesting. It won’t go viral

I personally think there isn’t such a thing as a correct or incorrect way to go through life so long as you are not doing wrong to others. If someone wants to have a “burn bright and burn out fast” kind of life either due to unhealthy food or substance use that’s their prerogative

But if we are talking about living long lives then quality of life also comes into the equation. The difference between an 85yr old that has been taking care of themselves and one that doesn’t can be pretty stark. One is still able to move around and do things and the other tends to look shriveled up like the crypt keeper coiled into a fetal position on their couch

Treat yourself like shit, and you are going to have a shit quality back end. So if that’s the case, a long life isn’t necessary going to be a such a great thing. If the last half is “oh my god everything hurts and I can’t catch my breath” all day, maybe it is better to just have died at 55

Went well overall but a couple problems. First that she was pretty bad, which is really tough if I’m also not good. See if the dude is good…country dancing is entirely the guy “leading”, so a really skilled dancer can drag the girl around in ways where she just has to conform. And she ends up looking good doing it

But I can’t do that yet, so I had to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to just get her on the fast fast, slow slow rhythm. We basically had to go half speed because most country songs are too fast for beginners.
