Am I somehow wrong because I didn't know about the patch??

Not a trick question... did everyone know about this but me? I'm a little bit triggered right now because I thought I was going to log in and play P99 for a couple of hours, and now it's like... I got my friends mad at me because I still had the LFG tag on and now they don't have an Enchanter and I'm trying to determine whether or not I even want to spend the next 2 hours slowly waddling from Sebilis to OT while praying to God I don't aggro a see invis Froglok along the way.

IDK man. I think they could have had a grace period for the bags or something. It would have been impossible to play without installing the new patch files, so very few people could have made an argument that they didn't know it was coming. Or like, just grandfathered in the older bags. Pre-nerf medicine bag is still garbage when compared to a Shralok pack or handmade backpack, lol.

I'm not bashing the staff or anything here either, I'm just really annoyed with how this was handled because I don't feel like I did anything to deserve logging into the game to be unable to actually play the game. Ironically I left the OT hammer in the bank because it was weighing me down too much. Boy, that aged really well!

On a side note it will be really funny when someone logs into the game 3 years from now and can't figure out why they are overweight.

can yall delete this thread, im embarrassed now that i calmed down and realize i can just put bedlam on and had plenty of strength to bank, but about halfway through my journey i realized i was just better off transferring my stuff to my other bags and deleting the medicine bags

I think that’s part of what triggered me so bad, I have everything super neat and organized, had just spent a day in antonica getting all my gems, torches, tiny daggers etc. banked all my coin and valuables, log in excited to play and then BLAM I’m significantly overweight and now bound in the middle of no where

And it’s like, prob true classic, obvsly. I do t remember ever using medicine bags as backpacks in true classic lol but it’s p99 culture so it’s like… I learned this from y’all, why y’all acting like dumb as hell lmao…

I also always feel bad if I camp shralok pack because there is usually low level people there and I can farm raw plat easier and just buy them from said players, but in my mind I’m always like nah I will just save up and get tiny bags instead…

Like overall this is prob a good thing for the game, for me medicine bags wasn’t classic, but at the same time, damn did it trigger me to log into 😹 it all worked itself out well in the end, I even made some new friends on the same night, although I couldn’t loot much

What I found works well is a soiled guano bag, dark wood chest, 3 tink bags and 2 slots for insta clicks.
