keep
kiːp/

stronghold
ˈstrɒŋhəʊld/
noun
noun: stronghold; plural noun: strongholds
2.
a place that has been fortified so as to protect it against attack.
Highpass Hold is the outer defense to stop the rampant gnoll and orc attacks.
Highkeep is the inner castle that has the densest security.

The meaning of a communication is the behavior that results.
If I tell someone to meet me in HHK and they show up in High Keep, the communication was successful. A name does not need a priori meaning, it's the act of naming that imbues the name with meaning.
blame whoever made this map 25 years ago

im not super into them but GOT-DAYUM "map of the problematique" is such a banger
first time i heard it was to an old snowmobile video / clothing company called Slednecks
They laid that song down on Chris Burandt's (one of the best riders ever) segment, first time turbo sleds came into the mainstream too. What an intense 4 minutes of sport film.

The distorted chords sounding like a cold motor revving up, the gentle arpeggio on the piano like snowflakes dancing through the sky.
The vocals come in, “fear!” with the accompanying visual of blinding branches of bushes whipping against the rider’s visor, into “freedom” as he breaks out into an open expanse.
The song and the video are choreographed perfectly. Nice recommendation!

And he should be a National Hero for the work he did.
How many of us had a ring binder with all these printed out!!!!

Indeed, the guy deserves an in-game monument or something. I certainly had one of those binders, and I depended on it to get around Norath :D

EQ's maps are by a chap by Muse, who share a name with a band who released a song titled 'Map of the Problematique'.
Too much coincidence, simulation theory confirmed.

That album is like 80% killer tracks. Just picked it up in vinyl a month or two ago. Exo-Politics delivers big time.

Maybe the gent who made the moniker enjoyed the idea of norathians getting high in high keep :D = High high keep
Goblins are in the basement are turning green from their own farm :D
Flasks are for the bongs, Enchanter vendor for rolling paper, bards are there for entertainment and Isabella is paranoid from the high talking to herself
I like this cannon more than a misnomer :D
