Is there some secret thing I'm missing out on?

Some people have been AFK in zones like Gfay or Iceclad Ocean for days or maybe weeks, and I have a hard time believing some person just has some AFK toon logged into a computer for days on end without moving or doing anything.

This is why you get one of those balancing bird things, take a pic/vid of it and submit it. its not a hack if its gravity, ductape and a legit macro

You should always put /autoinv first for any fishing or forage macros. Then all of the commands to avoid the command failing cuz ur having stuff on ur cursor. U got it backwards.

There are toons logged in to parse server wide messages and guild chat for automated Discord bots. The only thing wrong with that is whoever owns those chars is two boxing when they log in their mains to play.

afaik people running discord bots aren't dinged for "boxing" as long as they clear it with csr prior. that would just be silly

It is too easy to make new accounts. IP blocks aren't the answer. Real ID is. And 1 server accounts not 3. 1 per realid.

You won't get anywhere with this because the forum trolls are the ones going AFK to level up in EZ mode while they are at "work". They seem to be okay with cheating. They are all Bill Burr's and Dave Chappelle's....comedians. They make jokes as they cheat a game which they say they love.

I could blame Verant/SOE for not creating anti-afk rules to protect legit players but I blame the cheats of course.

I'm surprised to see PL starting this thread and talking with each other about it. PL has already reported these toons to CSR and CSR followed up on it.

I mean, I've been around P99 for a while, but I still don't really know shit about what people are doing most of the time. Never really been involved in the raiding scene (raided a handful of times with FoH a long time ago, but that's it). And if AFKing for days or weeks on end is not allowed, it's strange how often I see people doing it. I don't think CSR cares at all about AFK characters.

Start name and shaming these afk/bots in a thread or here. Send em tells with pop verina, lodi or big plat camp named mobs.

Any sort of botting should be met with disdain from the community, especially if the p99 police aren't doing anything about it.

Most would believe that the EC tunnel bot for auctions are good, but it's still botting. Imagine taking that same concept for tracking high value targets, perma afk bot that you send a tell to and it sends out a batphone to a discord channel, much like the EC tunnel bot.

I vote get rid of them all.

IIRC correctly the staff gave an express exception to auction tracking bots
