This is a tip most vets know, but can be helpful to new players and every now and again even old school players don't know about it. This trick works when you are semi low on mana and need to clear the hate list of one or two mobs that are currently agro'd on you. Pros can clear hate list of three mobs.
Enchanters get a really cool spell line called Memblur. It wipes the agro list. By the time an enchanter is 49 they will mainly be using Blanket of Forgetfulness for this AE memblur effect. It's quite powerful.
These 8 classes (including ENC) can perform a Memblur trick. It isn't quite as good as Blanket of Forgetfulness, but still has tons of applications and works in a pinch.
The classes are Cleric, Paladin, Shaman, Necromancer, Wizard, Enchanter, Ranger and Druid. How do these classes perform MemBlur without being able to scribe the spell?
1. Use of the Root spell on up to 2 mobs very in quickly in succession. You can do 3 mobs if you get timing perfectly.
2. Upon last 2nd or 3rd mob rooted immediately click sit and click camp. Then let the 30 second timer clock down. Let the game log you out to character select screen.
3. Wait 30 seconds (or longer) at character select screen for mobs to path away from your location.
4. Log back in and now you are not on any hate list of any mob in the zone.

You can also gate or teleport to clear your agro list.

Gate / TL do not clear aggro if you're bound in the same zone. Succor does, but not Gate.

You can clear your aggro list by letting your character die. I use this trick all the time.

It's a useful trick. https://wiki.project1999.com/Herbalist%27s_Spade and some clicky roots are all/all as well.

Quick sidebar: wiki says blanket of forgetfulness is unresistable, but that doesn't mean the memblur necessarily sticks right? Like it just guarantees you have a chance of success, whereas if it got resisted with the red resist message it's obivously a 0% chance. Or does it work 100% of the time? Cause if not, camping out does at least guarantee that the "memblur" took.
I haven't levelled up an enchanter very far before so I've never been clear on that. "Unresistable" means different things depending on what the spell does.

Can't be resisted, but not guaranteed to mem blur. Something like 55% chance to mem blur

Yep zelld has got it.
After you Blanket you have to make sure the mob actually was blurred. The text "Soandso mob blinks" doesn't guarantee blur landed from Blanket.
Also if you are close enough mob will simply re-agro instantly unless you Calmed it beforehand and reduced it's agro radius before using Blanket.

Yep this is why the camp out method is a great proto-memblur alternative. If you are at character select screen you can be sure you are no longer on any mobs hate list.
The one exception is if you DOTed a mob and when you log back in the DOT is still on the mob connected to what you had cast prior. The next tick of that DOT will re-agro the mob onto you if you are in game.

Imagine not realizing mobs stop attacking you if you are not logged into the game.

Really good advice. The advanced level of this technique is avoiding agro entirely by playing something else.

the mess line of enchanter spells all have a mem blur component, particularly powerful is the level 4 "Mesmerize"
gg 8)
Clerics also get atone - though if you've done more than prox agro you may be casting it a few times...

when in doubt camp it out
like when mobs used to fall in sebilis...so many baddies died to the trains of myconids instead of just immediately camping

/q can be dicey. If the sync takes too long your character is still in the world and therefore still a target of the mob(s) you aggroed
