You have too much gold on you. When you run its slower than walking. Been dungeoning it up for far too long. Time to hit the bank.
Which banker in Norrath do you prefer to use?

Rivervale is my go-to. Easy to faction for evil toons and the center of Antonica.
Felwithe pretty easy too if you're on Faydwer.

Rivervale. Closest to a port, some little halfling can send me there in seconds for a pittance

Rivervale, Tin Banker in OT, and the banker in Qeynos whoÂ’s watched me murder two Barbarians repeatedly and never once snitched to the guards

Depends on what character, have ot hammer so plus.
If in EC tunneling, north Freeport bank. If 30k plat+ beg for sow, str, auto run then AFK till zone, West Freeport. Crawl to nfp
Rivervale is also choice, easy in and out.

Thurgadin typically. GD ring is pretty close and the banker area there has ready access to lots of useful vendors. Can quickly stock up on food/water and I usually never leave the bank with cash on me - I’ll buy peridot stacks and use those for donations needed for ports or whatever else I might need. It weighs less.

This is a good bank. I remember when everybody used to hang out on the little landing right outside the bank on live. Good times...

I like the lively Highkeep vibe, banking there is never dull.

Kelethin - no zoning.
I hate having to zone two zones into a city to find a banker. The no-zone GFAY is the best :)
Running from Blackburrow to Qhills to NQey to SQey, while great xp for fangs, was obnoxious compared to Orc Hill in Gfay.

This is why pet classes are the best ec mules. Summon a pet, open trade with plat and then cancel. Gives you 20-30 seconds of running each time you open trade.

Clockwork bankers. Wherever you are, you're nearly Overthere.
There's only one race/class combo I trust to keep my treasures safe:

You just need to be very careful with this trick. I've heard multiple stories of people accidentally pressing the trade button and losing tens of thousands of plat lol. IMO the juice is not worth the squeeze. You can also do this trick on regular NPCs you pass by such as guards, merchants, etc. if you don't have a pet.

Also works on random players, but once you leave the tunnel it works less.
Best Ec mule will always be a bard, can always move with selos

Take your time and wear your helmet. The tortoise always wins the race.

I like handing over my gold and platinum to the Qeynos Aqueducts banker. Does he look dapper? No. Does he look dependable? No, but he's surrounded by the toughest group of cutthroats you can find so my collection of putrid ribs feels safe.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever used a bank other than Freeport. I usually only bank after tunnel questing. Otherwise I just buy/resell gems to convert to plat.

OT banker is the best go to. Click through the wall, don't need faction. Given the combo with hammer hill, it's a super easy way to swap out equipment/gear if you quickly need to upon a quake or something like that.

i really like the ambiance of neriak and how isolated you are. only 4 zones if you take a druid port and a maze under the city.
but there's a peridot vendor nearby!
