What is Everquest: Hardcore?

http://eqhc.net/

You are playing on a fresh server, inside of an already established server. You can only trade and meaningfully interact with players who are also in the league. This season started on June 17th, 2023. You can not be buffed by, trade with, or group with people who are NOT part of the league.

This season will run approximately 6 months. Future seasons may last longer, based on any updated themes or rules.

Death is permanent. Any items you have on your characters, or in their bank are lost when your character dies. It's possible to throw high value items on the ground, but recovery is not guaranteed. Deaths from griefing, PvP, and disconnect/bugs do NOT count. Corpse runs from the previous are also safe.

When your character dies, you have two choices; delete it, or discontinue playing it and move it to the <No Rez Fallen> PvP guild, which is designed to safeguard normal league members from PvP griefing. Regardless of which you decide, this character can no longer group with, or assist normal No Rez members in any way aside from PvP. Once PvP is over, any buffs or assistance must be stopped and removed.

Everquest: Hardcore is played on the Project 1999: Red server, this server has some special rules and modifiers, including:
+50% base XP
+40% XP per additional group member

This creates fast leveling, and easy re-rolling in the event of a death.

Hardcore raiding is a thing. There are special rules for death touch mechanics, and if you wish to know more, I suggest you visit our discord:

I don't, I think its neat that a niche like this exists. I might join at some point, who knows.

Deaths from griefing, PvP, and disconnect/bugs do NOT count.

So you're telling me there is a need for my elven lawyer services to defend my clients from accusations they didn't in fact die to griefing, PvP, disconnect, and other bugs?

noone wants to play on that dead ass server.
Even worse, you want to try some derivation of a game that wholly makes playing entirely unfun.

I couldnt imagine what could go wrong on a perma death server filled (and I use that loosely, and I usee filled more like "the only people playing " are griefing little children with social issues.

It seems like op creates a new league with a small twist from previous ones every few weeks.

My hunch is this happens everytime op's hardcore character dies.
