Maybe specifically in group situations 50+, pve and pvp.

With a paladin of level 24 and a highest level character of 53 I will confidently share my expert opinion:
(1) cast Blind approximately thirty times per fight
(2) root park adds if your group sucks and no one else is handling it
(3) if you fail at (1) then stun the mob when it goes for healers
(4) kill halflings (it's for the health of the ecosystem as a whole, I promise)

Watch the group's health bars, particularly if there's an enchanter with a charmed pet.

Have that hotkey ready to target the enchanters pet and give it a quick stun.
The enchanter will notice and realize they only need you. Can get rid of the useless people in your group and go duo the world.

the secret to playing a good paladin is not playing one - and rolling a warrior instead. after you get proc'ing weapons and other classes understand how to mitigate aggro - youll be happy you forgot about Paladin which is completely pointless in this era. nobody plays paladins or rangers or wizards on P99 for a very good reason.

each of those classes, and SKs, are very good in pvp. paladins as more of a support role.

Wizards aren't very good in PvP in Velious era unless you have a bunch of them together to one-shot nuke targets. People have way too much HP and you generally can't cast at all if a melee is on you because you'll die in seconds. You spend fights running around and throwing a few lures here and there, which is much less impactful than if you had been a melee attacking the whole time.

Good paladins do all of their ludicrous amount of fun quests. Seriously they have so many.

Paladins can be better than wars for tanking raid mobs and trash that don't require defensive because they can snap agro almost instantly and the dps doesn't have to wait to engage.
Sure, you want wars for the big stuff, but you want paladins for the rest.

Wars can just use clickies for snap aggro though, and then *also* have defensive and more hp and ac for harder targets.
I'd definitely prefer a good pally for like a KC or seb pickup group over a completely ungeared warrior of the same level, but if somebody wants to play a tank and only has enough free time to level\gear one character they might as well make a warrior, at least on p99

If someone only has enough free time to level/gear one character and they pick warrior, they will never have the gear/time to be a raid tank.

Not with account sharing!
Pretty much every raid guild I've ever been in has like five people minimum who have access to the main tank's info.

you're clueless and probably fizzled out in karnor's castle leveling your first character up to 49
