Yeah I mean honestly the first cloak quest was completed long ago but the reward was different.. all it takes is a turn in to get the upgraded version. Hurf with a bit of blurf, imo.

Could this be the first event on the history of p99 with no bitch thread?

I'm bitching that the quests aren't actually upgraded and someone has the cloak*. >:[
*Not serious. How'd the event go I was busy getting rained on while trying to watch fireworks?

It went great. The tuning was perfect from what I saw. The lower levels got to have some fun, Daliant got DTed trying to KS one from a newb, and it made the higher levels help some lower levels out.
The fire giants were tweaked up to an appropriate challenge, every raid guild combined to about 100 total present, and still nearly wiped to an unexpected Skarlon pull. I was really glad to see that even some 50+ from non-raiding guilds came and participated.
Brosama himself was level 65 with 128k hp, vs's proc, velk's aggro drop on a 30 second cooldown, and gravity flux on a 45 second cooldown. He was designed so that everyone would have to work together to make it happen. The goal was to implement enough survivablity to make it unzergable, to shit all over midnight mallets, and make people react quickly to changes in aggro and positioning with all of the lava nearby.
They held on really well, at 10% they started to lose people and healers were going oom. It looked like he was going to pull out ahead, but they stepped up their game and got him down.

Sounds pretty badass!
So Uthgaard ordered the assassination of Brosama.

It was pretty fun realizing that he wouldn't stick on any tank and our cheal rotation was going off like headless chickens trying to cheal tanks who no longer had aggro/wouldn't have it... It was a crazy fun event IMO, even got the lowbies involved.
I was waiting for Perun to make a thread about the Trak teeth raging out. But then I saw you were serious about the Eye of Veeshan Sky belt items being handed out, and figured that was punishment for me being a smart ass and linking my belt like it dropped. I laughed and it was all good fun.

And you coming on the forums with the arrogance that you're somehow better than people because you don't play the game is like a science exhibit for me. Keep making a douche of yourself I'll keep laughing.

Upon further investigation, it seems these unique life forms are highly sensitive and repetitive in nature.
