Quit SSRIs.

Use Welbutrin or something.

i remember when they put me on serotonin reuptake inhibitors as a minor for Ecstasy abuse, the dreams were intense.

also yeah, don't let boomers play chemistry with your brain, turns out most of them are retarded.

SSRI is an antidepressant.
Side affect is weight gain.
Weight gain is depressing.
What a fucking spiral.

Seriously, I dunno. Figure out what made you depressed before ya became fatter. Did doctor document your initial consult? Question them about it.
Unless getting fat made you depressed in the first place, then I got nuffin.

Find someone to formulate your depression, create wellbeing plan, use mood diaries and reformulate as you go.

Speak to your doctor about your medication if you aren't sure it is for you.

Maybe combine both these into the same combination and have the doctor refer you to psychologist / therapist / counsellor.

Hows your diet? A lack of protein can create symptoms similar to depression.

don't take my advice - but maybe it will help you speak to professionals that are qualified / experienced in ur area

Go to the gym 6 days a week and eat a low calorie high protein diet.

Go online to find a beginner’s workout plan if you’re new to it.

Switch to Welbutrin.

Do it for multiple reasons.

Then start working out or walking around the block, getting sunlight.

Make a habit of it.

Then get off Welbutrin.

Don't eat anything.

Fasting is also a good technique.

It's important to remember that everyone's body is unique, so what works for one person might not work for another. However, maintaining a balanced diet and incorporating regular exercise into your routine can make a significant difference. Focus on nourishing your body with whole foods, plenty of fruits and veggies, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Avoid excessive processed foods and sugary snacks. In terms of exercise, find activities you enjoy, and that fit into your schedule. It could be as simple as taking a daily walk, trying yoga or dance classes, or joining a sports team. Physical activity helps with weight management and improves mood and overall well-being. While these lifestyle changes can be beneficial, consulting with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian for personalized advice is important. They can provide guidance tailored to your specific needs and medications. You can also check out other resources for that. One of them is https://reverse.health/.

How fat are we talking? Are you Lulzsect levels or just getting pudgy? I started taking kickboxing/TKD classes about 3 months ago because I hate going to the gym and I did it for years when I was younger, and so far it is a fantastic workout twice a week (and honestly anymore than that I would burn out on and stop)

There really isn't any option other than sweating from physical exertion so get off your ass

Get yourself u grams of a high potent mushroom(PE always does the trick). Boil water, add some lemon juice and then throw the mush in. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then drink it down.

You are welcome. Do this every 6 months.

I take celexa and I've had success with a fruit-based diet. My rule was that I could eat anything but it had to be fruit. I did that for two weeks until my appetite settled down, developed quite a taste for apples. Then I added protein, biltong etc, no sugars. Since March I've lost 9kg.

Part of why it’s so great here. Put a bench and some dumbbells behind your desk and just stand up and start lifting between spawns.

Okay, refined sugars.

Fruit, especially apples, have pectin which is extremely good for your gut and a natural appetite suppressant.

I mostly eat apples, grapes and strawberries. I do avoid oranges because they're just too sweet. Limes and lemons are ok though.

This is my extremely anecdotal ruleset but it's worked for me.

Glycemic index of fruit is medium to low. Glycemic index of e.g. white bread and refined sugar is... not.

That only tells me diabetics don't often eat fruit.

Nah processed sugars are much worse (categorically, of course the extent all based on dosage) than fruit sugar for everyone, not just diabetics. I dunno the chemistry and science behind it, but the fitness nutritionists go into great detail, and I remember hearing about it

Stop laying this waste of life game and get outside and exercise a bit. Even if it is a walk to the lake to smoke a bowl.
