Shits getting weird on green

Unrest again but this time I was a bystander.

Someone was in the hag tower for hours but someone else kept popping in and asking how long have they been there, how long will they be, etc. After awhile the pop-in guy started getting fly-over state single mom rude. You have been here for too long, you really should take a break, think about others (as long as it benefits me) when it comes to camps.

While not at the same time,

A couple of people were fighting over basement mobs. Player 1 thought Basement meant the whole thing even tho he could not handle the whole thing. But then a pair of people moved to Gara/tentacles. The ranger was doing everything he could to force them out, some rules, some made up rules, threatening server rep. Because we could hear most of this in /say we jumped in
"Why dont you guys get a room"
one of the duo replied, "we have a room"
random person in my group, "then decide who lucky pierre is and group up"
they grouped up and everybody clapped.

theres like 6 people on red that all have dwarf rogues at levels of increments of 5 all in Ntov loot just ganking people. 12 years of level, loot, delevel

and on blue you get death threats if you get anywhere near a 2boxer

green is the only choice

Blue is the most mentally ill its true (detoxx furor etc.) but there is only like 2 people in unrest so you can level in peace.

I am not *personally* a fan of the kind of situations OP described - However I am super happy that some places like this still exist this late on the Green99 timeline for those people who get some enjoyment out of PVE mob shortage drama and competing pullers. :cool:

This was so *intensely* common in popular dungeons on Live servers and was a large part of early Green99 dungeons as well; as many have said before: "Shit's Classic" :cool:

You did originally keep your skills, I played on Vallon Zek (Teams PvP) back in the day and there was a deleveled Barbarian Rog who used to terrorize people in HighPass Hold.

A good portion of the server is getting like that. The toxicity is so bad. Would like to know people's theories on why it's like this as this isn't how I remember it a year or two ago.

perma timelocked servers are prolly a bad idea. if people are bored, live has a revamped kunark,velious, luclin that was actually worth resubbing for a month or two to go through the content. luckily i just did PUG 6man and didn't look for a guild for it.

Should keep skills for delevel. On classic pvp servers they capped you within 5 to stop delevel twinks destroying with lvl 60 skills.

Also, during the US v USSR space race, the US gubba could spend a shit ton of money to own the ruskies. That job, the space race done and won, the challenger "accident" prices skyrocketed (see what i done there?) and other domestic stuff happening meant they cant justify spending the required amount anymore, that, and the fact we allow gazillionares to exist means these space jockeys, only could get to the edges of space because NASA, fuelled by US monies did the extremely expensive (and not corporately profitable) homework/research/experimentation required.
GE, Lockeed and other private corps got paid regardless of results to win this race. None of these companies could have convinced their shareholders to fund this shit.
Now, these same companies drive the new space race. Fuelled by gazillionaires hoping to profit from meteor/moon mining. Or to get a big dick into space.
