Hi all. The P99 Green Event Committee is organizing a new event for Sunday, June 5 at 1pm EST. It's a team-based PvP event, where members of different guilds will team up and fight other teams. It will be a chance for P99 Green members to intermingle with players outside their guild and have some fun, and even win some prizes. Please read the rules carefully.
Denizens of Norrath, the time has come for you to prove yourself in the Arena once again. On Sunday, June 5 at 1PM EST, the P99 Green community will be holding a 4v4 mixed-team PvP tournament. Sign up and fight for glory, and prizes.
Event:
For this unique PvP event, captains will be chosen from the pool of registered participants. Team captains will roll for pick order. Captains will take turns picking a teammate from the pool of players to build their team. Captains cannot pick their first teammate from their own guild. Captains can also not pick from the same guild twice in a row, unless there is no other option. Pick orders will follow a snake draft format.
Rules:
- All participants will be required to sign up at least 30 minutes before the event.
- One team of 4 players. Teams cannot have more than one of the same class.
- The event will be held at the Arena next to Lake Rathetear, on the elevated platform.
- Competing teams will be debuffed before the match.
- Before matches start, there will be a 30-second period for buffs and pet summons.
- Each match will last for a maximum of 10 minutes. Winners of matches that go the distance will be decided by judges. Cowardice is frowned upon. Bravery is rewarded.
- Detrimental spells cannot be cast during the buffing period.
- No clickies or consumables of any kind are permitted, except for epics, crystallized pumice, and Journeyman’s boots.
- The top of the throne, in the throne, or behind the throne is off limits to the combatants during the matches. The four firepots are also off limits to the combatants. Use of these areas in match combat will lead to contestants being disqualified.
- Starting positions are allowed anywhere that is legal (meaning not on the throne or in firepots) that is on your half of the tiles.
- We are allowing the use of rogue poisons, except for any that blind.
- The following spell types may not be used:
Any form of Charm.
Any form of Fear unless directed at a pet.
Any type of Blind spells.
Gravity Flux or Invert Gravity.
Any type of gate or translocation spell (Example: shadow step).
Any type of banishment spell.
Any spells that require Essence Emeralds.
Group-based wolf form of any kind.
Skeletal illusions, not including Lich or Demi-Lich.
Bard travel songs.
- Any use of exploits or bugs will result in immediate disqualification from the event.
- All participants must be level 60.

Entry fee:
- 200 pp per participant that signs up at least 24 hours before the event starts.
- 400 pp per participant that signs up within 24 hours of the event.
- All entry fees collected will go towards the prize pool.
