I have a few spirit wracked cords on blue and various eq servers. It's not that hard to

get if you get a few buddies and just afk camp it.

yeah that's not how it works on blue, maybe back in the olden days when you got it that was the case but these days if you're not actively clearing for at least 10 hours before spawn you're going to have people from other guilds constantly coming in and bitching at you or outright trying to take the camp, so have fun with that if you have any other responsibilities in your life whatsoever

easy answer to op's question is that it's not a roll because unlike shady and angry, which would be autofire clickfests if not a roll, the way scout was, the way ring 8 would be, the way ring war was, etc., drusella is just a campable mob in an exp zone and the normal PnP rules for who has the rights to a camp apply.

oh it definitely turns people into animals. without an organized crew, it's pretty tough to get in on the camp and the time requirements are extreme.

tbh, almost certainly is much easier and practical to just farm the plat on your time and schedule and then buy one from the farm crew that has it locked down. hate lining their pockets because it just encourages the behavior, but that's the free market at work i guess.

Inhave plenty of plat to line every character i own with a urn, thats not the point of my question. It was why is every other major item within this quest line a roll, but not drusella.

Remember when SWC was removed from lorekeeper loot table based on zero evidence because it didn't make sense that a quest item would drop from a mob, when: the quest item dropped from the mob in actual everquest and: lots of things in classic eq don't make sense

We pulled off the highway after the $16 toll bridge to what I think was a main area of New York City because the woman was about to pee her pants. I mean literally within 30 seconds of getting off the highway we saw a drug deal on the corner (guy with a fanny pack taking money from another dangerous-looking man in a fake handshake situation where the was an exchange). The only store insight was a liquor store that was probably smaller than my bedroom. She held it and we got back on the highway until Queens.
