It is definitely annoying. Has made me have to gate a time or two solo’ing when I realized the target is going to get chain heals by multiple unseen healers essentially indefinitely until I run oom trying to kill it

If you can do the fight somewhere else, do that! Have you cleared some other area nearby and can you pull to there? And if not, can you pre-kill the healer before taking out the main target? And if you can't do either, you might be screwed. It's not 1v1 anymore if there's a healer NPC in range.

Necros constantly deal with this while learning to fear kite and it quickly becomes apparent to pull the mobs back to an area you've previously cleared.

Just pull the mobs back after your initial break in.

In 1999 we were clamoring to get to cazic thule and wait an hour to join a random pickup group, cause it didn't matter that like 75% of the mobs heal eachother socially cause you just murdered everything in sight. There were rarely two mobs up at the same time to even heal eachother.

We are all total bitchmade cucks and we should admit it.

It was the same on this server too when it wasnt extremely top heavy and you could actually find PUGs as you level, rather than twink and go solo spot to solo spot
