when someone is a certified expert they don't have to cite textbook details for how something works. When a doctor tells you, "this is what's wrong with you", you don't get an hour-long biology lesson in addition to your prescription. I'm not an only child and I've never been home-schooled or had problems in school (I started college as a Sophomore because of all the college-credit classes I took in High School, in fact) and I've never been on psych meds.

Well, actually, I'll have to take that last part back, but with a major caveat. I was on medication for anxiety once because my partner died. Although, the realms of society that I take part in are extremely competitive (the film industry, Olympic-level ice skating) and thus it's actually a requirement to be a perfectionist and have at least a little bit of an ego on display. Zura I gotta give you credit - you did excel and get to the top of the list with something. You sir are by far and away the WORST enchanter I ever grouped with on live or p99 - and I played from May 99 to around Jan 2005 on live (Fennin FTW). Out of hundreds there and dozens of enchs here on p99 you are the worst.

And that includes people letting their 5 year old kids play their toons. At least they knew how to cast clarity and haste.

Little example of Zura's "mad leet skillz" -
Zura is in our KC basement group. The group is bitching because of lack of clarity/haste (go figure) ..cleric is upset he can't keep everyone full HP. So i fungi staff the group. Zura, once he realizes its a small snare with the regen, literally spams 10-12x in group "DONT REGEN ME".. I'm like man you need to calm down and take some meds, just click it off or tell me once and I wont do it. I don't understand the psychotic reaction to a regen but OK - his logic was the 1/2 second it takes him to click it off could kill him as an ench. Whatever - hes the expert.

2 minutes later our monk pulls 3 - 3 whole mobs. Not a single one gets mezed. We die. Zura manages to have time to train the zone (doesn't the ench die first w/ adds usually :P); then tells the group we suck and leaves.. after he trains LCY and ZI and kills other people.

Zura has without a doubt made my top 10 asshats in EQ of all time list. I would rather have a half retarded chimp playing a 45 ranger in my group then him.

That's not what happened at all, Kental. Both myself AND another member of the group specifically said we were leaving and getting a port to EJ. We just hadn't dropped group yet and the rest of you decided to pull after we left. Your own fault, not mine. I absolutely never said "you suck" and purposefully let you die and then left either. Don't twist your own mistake into being angry and blaming me.

As for the fungal regen, I asked you calmly not to put it on me two separate times. You continued to do it, at which point I spammed group chat since that seemed to be the only way to get you to listen. I didn't want it on me because I was trying to root park and the slow movement means a bigger chance of me getting as I try to move out of melee range, in addition to causing other movement problems. When I'm trying to click on targets and cast spells I really don't want to waste the time to click off fungal regen, no. And the time that it takes me to click it off can mean the difference between living and dying, especially if I'm holding down right mouse cursor while moving and having to click over to my buff/debuff boxes accidentally causes the game camera to spin all over the place.

Funny how I never have any problems when grouping with Divinity or Ascension.

I'd love to see an MMO that took what classic EQ started and built upon it to create something phenomenal and dynamic.
