A strange green mist overtakes the Karanas, choking the inhabitants. In a distant land, the Holgresh cease construction of their beads that many outsiders seek. The Coldain prepare for a harsh winter by offering a new shawl for those that side with them.

Im assuming this was the april and may 2001 updates rolled into one to get us back on schedule? hoping June is next.

I can't speak for beads dropping, but the karanas thing with the beetles and stuff is not in

Damn what's going to happen now? I was used to fighting the monkeys for 26 hours then frantically going through my friends list trying to see who could take over before I crapped and vomited myself to death.

I'm not familiar with the Karana plague event, but if anything other than the green mist not working please post details.

I'm not totally familiar with the entire event either, but it may just be the mist because I just checked in north karana and found a rabid griffawn roaming, which is a mob associated with the plague. Also getting the "You feel dizzy." message every so often.

I seem to remember some kind of disease-based DOT effect is applied to you as soon as you zone into the karanas, too. Somebody other than me surely knows more.

So glad it's over, overall great time doing it successfully 7 times attempted probably 60 times. Greatest group effort ever. Anyone that did it with one of my toons knows I busted ass along side all and hours after. Grats on all plat made later. I've got 3 to offer at 175k ea. Before nerds ask stupid prices.

Glad it's gone.

Yep bread quest was part of the Karana plague, young wizards and Druids can start celebrating
