P99 is pretty fun as is, you just need to take it for what it is. P99 staff has no interest in making a "fun" game based on classic EQ spirit with continuous new content and keeping the game feeling fresh. They want to recreate classic EQ to the letter. The closest new content we are getting is /List, Raid spawn variance, custom raid rules, and over powered charm mechanics.
