We all know the term "half elf". IMO this is a misgnomer, or a misunderstanding with the situation. It is my belief that even before Innoruuk was genetically enhancing his elven kin, the rest of the elves were busy giving themselves genetic upgrades with what they considered 'beast men' or mortals. It's clear that Wood, and Dark "elfs" were genetic failures that were added into the line at different points along the road. Wood first, then Dark.

You aren't really a "half elf". Your'e really a Half-Human or Half-Dragon. Or Half-Orc. Half-Kerran. Half-Giant-Scarab.

So I pose this question. Multiple choice is allowed because you can be many things before the elves elfed you. :eek::cool::p:o

There is an awful quest line in which it is revealed a dark elf assassin master has been recreationally inseminating a halfling female, but wants you to save him some embarrassment by assassinating her before the gestation comes to term.

Various item entries indicate half elfs can be drawn from dark elf heritage, I was a little disappointed while beta testing Luclin that the half elves didn't include options for the dark elf eyes.

Former Azure Guard interim guild leader, Ruffel, claimed his half elf ranger was half ogre.

I can't remember the lineage of my most recent half elf. He was a Bertox follower, iirc, so lets say he was the product of a whirlwind romance with a frozen Joe.

Your thread has excited me to look in to Half Elf deity options and create a new half elf (probably warrior). Prexus merperson seems likely.
