Raid spawn variance, rooted dragons, abnormal GM intervention, no endurance, /Lists, Charm pwnage, Wiki describing every aspect of the game, Dialup vs cable, every character having its own account, Multi-questing, Resist not working, Druid tracking, Gnoll fangs, Recharging items, ect, ect, ect

Forgot the very most classic part of the server.... 10+ middle-aged men using technology to cast their computer screens to each other and perma camp raid mobs

other very classic parts of p99:

- guilds having dozens of bot accounts
- average person having access to 2 or more accounts, some having access to dozens of accounts
- server never going down, so the majority of pops are organic instead of the result of reboots
- patches occur a few times per year, instead of the very not classic patching every 1-2 months, resulting in even less spawns
- no server maintenance so neckbeards can stay logged in 24/7

all of these things really contribute to the classic feel of p99 and i absolutely love them

We're here to emulate a game made in 1999, not 1999 itself. Nothing we can do about the fact that all quests/strats are known already, people have better internet, and use technology to do things that weren't possible in 1999.

Custom content will eventually make it here, and I think items/quests that were clearly meant to be in Velious, but weren't because of release schedules, should be considered first.
