If you know the exact microsecond the seed was taken, and all the other entropy sources used (a hash of every account on the server and their current loc, the weather in the top 100 cities, whatever /dev/random uses, etc, you can use a python script to send your /random at the exact right time, taking perfectly into account your latency to the server to the millisecond, and win the roll.

This is how I win where alpha gems start in my hole groups.

Interesting thread. After limited research, I have discovered one can use /system to natively create and execute python from the client making python scripts classic at least for takp if not here (which needs to attempt trilogy client).

/random is server-side information sent back to the client. Python isn't going to help seeing how it runs client-side.
