Here's my list. It is not a ranking system, just the order in which the names popped into my head.

So this is a shameless confession on my part, but despite the fact I can't play EQ due to RL, I still visit the forums strictly to read up on the drama. The fire exchanged between parties here could easily make a great episode of Jerry Springer. With that said, while there are Forum Quest villains, we also have heroes and neutral parties that add to the brawl. If anyone is up for it, they should make one of those classic D&D alignment charts using popular Forum Questers!

Tuna, I know you made this thread so be proud, you made my list. Each person on this list represents not just annoyance, but intent to continue the pattern of forum annoyance. As a person, you're a decent fellow, just want to put that out there for anyone else reading. Here's my reasoning for the other names.

We'll start with the most recently banned player, Nirgon. At 14K posts, which averages to 3.5 post per day over the last decade, saying he's "active" on the forums is an understatement. Under the guise of roleplaying, he's enjoyed some bad behavior on P99 that has gotten him banned and his guild disbanded. Even up to his eventual ban, he's made himself out to be the victim, which is not the case. Nirgon, if you're reading this, take this sabbatical from EQ to self reflect.

Next up, Chortles Snortles. This is a guy who has been banned multiple times and still creates new identities to continue his hijinx. The dedication to posting on a 20+ year Elf Simulator forum, with a small audience compared to that of Reddit/Twitter/Ect. always baffles me with this guy. He claims to be a wealthy stock trader, often as a way to put down other people who attack him in forum threads. The man could seek his flame posting elsewhere for greater returns, yet here he continues to return. As I said earlier, I'm sure he's already reading this thread and doing his signature "Big Sip." Something about the way he responds with animated GIFs has set people off enough to keep controversial threads alive and well for days or even weeks.

My next pic, Detoxx, is well known on the forums, Discord servers, and the Blue server. He's lead and still does lead raiding guilds to victory and ruination. While I'm sure the Vulak loot speaks for itself, this is an individual who cannot resist getting into arguments on the forums. As a leader, I feel you should be above such arguments and just focus on the game itself. A chief reason for Detoxx being on the Annoying Forum Poster list is due to the responses his mere words provoke. It doesn't matter if he's right or wrong, the moment he opens his mouth, allies and competitors will zerg the thread and sling mud at one another as to who runs ToV and who should loot Vulak. It gets annoying, but also makes for great reading at times.

And finally we come to Recondojoe. His forum signature made the bold claim of being a 3 percenter or such, if I remember right. That alone was annoying to see repeatedly. I think out of all the names I listed, I'm not going to say more than that. Like a Peter Pan pixie, he thrives on having his name merely mentioned. I'm not going to give him more than that.

Now to balance this post out by mentioning some Good Forum Posters. The only two that come to my mind at this time are Loramin and Swish. Loramin stands by what he says and is the only forum quester to boldly believe in the Green Project when others doubted its existence. By EQ RP standards, he should get a custom item. Last time I witnessed EQ resolve such as that, the GMs on my live server RPed as Innoruuk and awarded a dark elf player with a custom weapon.

Swish has pushed for players to try the red server before I even started on P99 in 2017. To face the naysayers daily while countering them with hilarious cat GIFs is admirable. If a red thread were created to advertise for the server, Swish would be on it. Even when Swish was banned on his first account, for promoting Red, he just created another and kept on truckin for Red! Great to see he got his original account back.

Neutral players for Forum Quest would currently be Mead, Baler, and Blackbellamy. All 3 are happy to play this emulator and will equally celebrate its demise.

If you're not a totally lazy slob with no marketable skills, you will likely exist in both the middle, upper-middle, and upper classes at some point in your life.
