druids charm in kael all the time for AoW. Or in Kedge for XP. Or in OT :D (I never played one past 29, so there are more spots im sure but I dont know them)

Druids are awesome. I just never understood why animals got mad at them for being charmed!

I couldn't figure out why Nature's Touch doesn't heal for more than Chloroblast despite being 5 levels higher, until I saw if it did it would be ahead of Divine Light, a level 53 cleric spell. God forbid druids at 60 have a heal slightly better than one of the numerous heals clerics have at 53.

Someone in classic had very strong opinions about non cleric heals. Apparently they were gone by Luclin.

Why call it Spell: Befriend Animal? Every animal I try to befriend ends up biting me!

Imo rename it to Spell: Frenzy Animal and give it to necromancers and enchanters.

You're 100% right it should have memblur based on druid actual lore and style. But it is lore breaking for balance, plain and simple.
