Rogues are a pointless class. Worst melee DPS in the game.

Copper appears to automatically convert to Silver, Gold, Plat. etc.

Currency has no weight anyways... everyone has 40 slot 100% weight reduction bags

Monks are God Tier class, like take no damage and does insane DPS

feels like everyone has Spirit of Wolf 24/7? Like I run so fast..

What else do I need to know about?? This shit feels so weird to me...

I wanted to play a Rogue too, but there's no reason to when you can play a ranger or monk and do more damage but also tank and bring utility

and weight issues not really a problem on TLP for monk.. at all

GoD was the best expansion. Sad PEQ went past it and allows boxing. It was legitimately the first and only hardest MMO raiding experience until BFA and Shadowlands.

I enjoy the post POP quest game. I think there's a lot of underrated content post PoP just because it trends away from classic. And the game gets a lot more complicated + EZ.

It's like back in TSS u could fly thru to 70 EZ but the grind from 70-85 could be a nightmare for certain ppl.

Now-adays I think anyone probably could hit 100 without much effort.

I'd like to see some of the quest dialogue and stuff for the later expacs personally, I like reading that. Even on wow some of the simple quests make me laugh even if it's just go get 8 murloc fins or w/e depending on how they are worded. I am probably a low IQ simp tho. So I find this more entertaining then constantly watching startrek on rerun, which I do a lot of too.

Yeah try The AlKabor Project they have by far the most classic "feel" except for the PoK books. Also, the desert of ro is merged into one zone on live tlp and Freeport has been updated from Ugly But Charming into an actual trash fire

It's really just an investment in a long term ride thru the game down the road. IDK why the TLPs attract so many ppl, would be cheeper just to drop $200 on buffing a few lvl 110's to trio.

You talking about on P99 or TLP? I know Rogue damage is legit on P99, and I know it was legit back in the day 20 years ago.... because I mained a Rogue and I used to accidentally KS entire groups on a regular basis. My group was always the exp group because of this.

But on TLP you are playing modern EQ... that is time locked progression, so a lot of the balance changes have made rogue super subpar... from what I understand they are better balanced after PoP once they get certain AAs and items...

Like apparently they are actually balanced around having OP rogue weapons rather than tweaking their base numbers

All mobs are snared, all players have passive movement speed similar to SoW...

Wizards apparently do a lot more damage (which is good, they are a useless class on P99)..

Magician feels weird.. like you get your pet at level 2.. first one I summoned is level 5 literally and solo'ing camps of level 5 mobs while I'm level 2...
my nuke only does 3 damage though... lol

Live is fine for me when I want to molo. Tbh the thing that keeps me playing here is the community, the good, bad, and ugly. I don't mind any of it.

My little adventure today in NK... only happened cuz I played here.

On live nope. Test nope. TLP nope. Not even TAKP has that going on even tho they have a good community. I am really torn....

Red is the best. Cuz once ur 60 there's still fun to be had, but it's still got a few bugs and it's too ez 2 get banned.

Blue is really fun cuz it's just like.. test was back in '06 and there's no pressure.

Green is really happening. Like u can get lvl 5 and just start having tons of fun interacting with the drama of the world or helping out other newbs immediately and its so random.

It's a pity tho ppl get griefed with petitions and some ppl will lose all control over loot.

I think I’ll enjoy the first 6 months or so as long as I’m able to find a guild that is active, but not overtly toxic

I feel like free trade will end up with guild leaders and officers having everything funneled to them when it otherwise wouldn’t

Like I got a lot of planar loot I didn’t have dkp for on green
Since same items will be traceable on mischief, I imagine armor like that will end up in a guild bank instead

Live players are pretty cool. But like...uhm.. there's always gonna be that one person on every server who is completely immune to any petitions whos universally despised by every player yet some how manages to get to the endgame.

I think mischief shows that the staff on tlp are still looking for the easy fix, not full time elf observers and investigators. That can flag toxic players.

EQ has a lot of suggestive (for the era, sort of similar to Lara Croft's boxy tits) graphics for the women in game as well. Huge boobs, one piece swimsuit armor, etc
